The cloak isn't perfect

Running away from the truth, that’s fine by me im not a judge really, just a person who knows what people desire.

Yeah i think @Scarface_1983 needs to “GIT GUD” and learn how to avoid the plasma and pre-plan his escape before predator even tries to kill him or focus him…

That’s just my take on this.

Knock it off man. You said you’d drop it.

He doesn’t need to say you were right, it was a misunderstanding, let it go.

You hardly see a Predator jumping between the trees unless it’s the trees very close to you.
I was rushed by a Predator on the ground, and couldn’t see the shimmer until he was 50mtrs out. Scared the bejizzle out of me, and it’s awesome.

Like in the movies, you now have to pay very close attention for changes in the environment. Even when the Predator is cloaked and moving around close by, he no longer looks like a shaderless outline. It’s perfect, looks amazing now from FT perspective, and will allow Predator players to actually get close to FT and stalk them like they should be able to.

It could it finally happened, i finally have a hard time sniping preds and locating them!

I dunno if you really can “Git Gud” against the new cloak. Even with preds clicking its difficult to pinpoint pred without dumping mags to clear branches, and even if you do manage to get a hitmarker, good luck trying to keep track of him once he starts moving. its like trying to find a needle in a haystack because the cloak only really gives you a very faint outline now. Rather than warping the image within the preds silhouette, it just flat out shines straight through him with a baby outline.

How you are supposed to fight that I have no idea imo. But I am not keen on returning the “Git Gud” to the FT players, despite the BS they were pulling the past few months. Its unhealthy for the playerbase, and unhealthy for development, no matter which side you are on.

Humans are not super-humans or superman, we don’t have sharp af eyesight to see everything lmao like some animals do.

No, we certainly do not. Especially with the jungle background which creates a vast array of shapes and shadows that preds new cloak easily disappears into.

As a “ASSAULT- SNIPER” fireteam main, i can safely confirm now its balanced as it should at least for me.

Cause now it takes skill to actually pin point his location.

You know what man, I will drop it just because your friend @Slasher_Clone asked due to your situation. I don’t want to be a dick to someone like you. But for future reference, try to respect people specially if they’re not in any way disrespecting you.

Isn’t that the beauty of it? Isn’t that what the predator is described to do? vanish in become one with the forest… even movie quotes from 87’ the chick said “JUNGLE TOOK HIM”

Yeah, but he shouldnt be maintaining that level of stealth while sprinting around like hes running a marathon. He should have to move slowly, because the cloak is flawed.

This new cloak isnt flawed. Its damn near perfect. Too good. Takes all of the patience and skill out of the stealth. We went from one extreme to the exact opposite end it seems.

Just my 2 cents, but shooting a shoulder caster shot from distance isn’t easy. You have to time it right, allow for travel time and try to anticipate where FT will be. You can’t just spam shots and get downs, which is how it’s being made out to be.

This plays well into forcing the FT to have some awareness now. No more speedrunning missions and hopping away from plasma shots, ignoring Predator until you’re face to face. It forces FT to communicate with each other, the majority of game losses can be pinned to lack of coordination and communication. Once someone on FT spots the Predator, they need to do their best to alert the rest of the team to its position, movements and incoming attacks. As a FT main, this is welcome. It’s not like we don’t have endless healing resources, back from the dead syrettes, and Reinforcement Radio. It’s time for FT to tighten up formation, pay attention and not treat the Predator like some joke to be ignored.

Just my 2 cents.

I think when he is sprinting he should be obviously visible like that scene in the movie when dillon saw him before his death.

That’s my max acceptance on the nerf.

Okay, let’s also bear in mind that all my comments are from PS4 perspective. Who knows what it’s like on PC and how graphical settings etc affect it. I think we need some videos to demonstrate it. But on PS4, it’s perfect.
