When I was defending the game from bots that complain about anything they can to make up for that inexperience in the game
Oh ok so you are one of these PRO players who’s got it all figured out?
I see up there you are posting the “best” perks etc…yeah im sure you are a force to be reckoned with mate.
I never said I was a pro, another one your delusional sayings. I simply gave my input from my experience if you dont believe it that’s fine but I can tell if this game had pros I would definitely try or be one of them.
Stop saying delusional, thats for edgy kids to say, are you and edgy kid?
I also have ton of experience with the Scout, and there are some really good perks, some dont even WORK, and some are useless.
Some want energy so they can keep blasting, i want speed and bullet res, because i dont spam shots.
Sadly…now i kinda HAVE to, because the patch ruined my build.
Mate he’s got a point the plasma cannon isn’t where it used to be you can’t down a a person with fully charged direct hit anymore i am a scout main and it used to be my go to weapon
You’ve said delusional, so you’re edgy too. Why would you use a engery on scout he already had passive fast engery regen, theres not a point for defense as you take a billion dmg anyways.
Read again…i dont use energy, some do. I use longjump, bullet res and faster heals.
As for why anyone would use it? People are diffrent, thats why. Needs no other explanation, all valid playstyles.
Scout is the weakest class, theres no point for defensive skills on a person that already takes a billion dmg, you need offense and speed for example ascender, trapper and fast hands. Combi/net gun and they just gave him more resistance from the patch so this works even better. I’m not saying your build is dogshit but its not optimal for wining
Yes he is the weakest class, hence why i use him. He is fast, and thats what i want.
I dont play to win, i play to make the match as long as possible, and maximize my score. I only try to win when they have the chopper inbound. This game punishes you for winning too fast, so if i down them early, i let them get back up. Theres been so many times i could have just ended the match, but i choose not to, i wanna play for 10 minutes if i can, because the queue is equally long.
I never use trees, they are shitty to move around on and way too glitchy, so i always use high rocks and roofs.
Hunter and Berserker are too slow, and not to mention big.
For me I love to win all are different I respect that. Thanks for your time I’m gonna go play.
Hit and Run PC Scout became my preferred play style. I’m going to jump into a few matches today and see how drastically the charge nerf impacts my effectiveness and will report back.
I have to admit, a small (10%-ish) nerf to charged damage was perhaps necessary but I’m getting the feeling that the devs have WAY over-compensated and I’m bracing myself to have my spirit utterly crushed.
At least they seem to have removed the glowing red light from the bow, so maybe it is more viable now…but I dunno.
We shall see.
Yea, played scout since I unlocked her. Its wicked sick. Sure you will lose due to squishiness, but I like the gameplay, fast, which can make it scary for some Fire Teams.
Did 3 matches trying my old hit and run Cannon downing, spirits broken.
I couldnt do shit in either match, managed to get like 3 downs in 3 matches, whereas before i downed them lots of times and they still gave me a hard time.
Now i cant stop them from doing objectives, and im froced to try melee as the scout to finish them off.
So, 5 matches of testing and my results have been encouraging for Scout. Of the 5, I only lost 1 and that was probably my fault for being a little too gutsy and just not being very attentive. Of the other 4 matches, no FT’s managed to escape. I wiped 2 before they were able to call reinforcements and the other 2 were wiped post-reinforce.
I tried mixing it up a little with the Bow and (horribly clumsy) Smart Disc. I got a couple of downs with the bow but the Plasma Caster, even though it wasn’t the outright tactical nuke that it used to be, was my best damage output and still very effective.
So, I think Scout is still looking very viable if you want to play the ranged, “peek-n-poke” game (which I do).
Edit: It may be worth noting that I play on PC, so I have some advantage in the aiming department with the bow and caster. I don’t know how I would feel about playing a ranged build with a controller. Not my jam, honestly.
Been playing pred with controller this whole time. I may have to ditch it since I’m struggling way too much with the bow now and I’ve been so hesitant on trying scout since Ive lost my winning streak to a ridiculous amount of hyper aware FTs(mostly PC players doing the spotting and it’s questionable that they can be lowering visuals to see cloak easier?).
It was far from a perfect patch (Spotting? Footsteps?) but I’ll be honest: I’ve been doing much better with the Scout today.
Played 8 matches as scout and wiped the FT 6 times, the other 2 some escaped overall it feels so much better to play as the scout. I can finally take traps with me and not have to rely on healing kits since there’s a lot of boars and they come up on your thermal scan. Overall I feel like the scout has more ways of approaching the FT other than trying to land a one shot kill.
Only problems I’ve had so far with this patch is being robbed of 7000V for whatever reason. I decided to do a match as a FT and went in with 13,345V, won the match came back to 6,345V. I thought this was a visual error so I closed the game and went back but it was still the same.
Its really easy now to win as Predator.
With every Predator class.
Yes Range Weapons are nerfed but the overall benifits makes the Predator far more stronger than before.
You can now finish the FT off every time you want in Melee. They cant survive.
Its not really challenging anymore to win as Scout class.
Against Rambos who love to go all alone? Yes. Against mediocre players with their heads on their shoulders? No.
