Yeah. But combi stick throw damage is still what’s in the file (115) and ignores the bullet small caliber damage modifier (0.5) (combi stick throw damage type is classified as bullet small caliber, lol)
As for the bow, even if the file says .75 in fmodel, in game testing showed .50 as the actual damage dealt.
In a pm with Pred and ft, combi stick throw did 92 damage (LMS perk has a 0.80 damage modifier)
But that LMS perk modifier did not affect bow
So, at this point, we are all lost, lol.
I’ll check but should be fresh install, I am going through new archives and not one pak file like before
Everything seems to be all over the place with very inconsistent patterns. Literally everything needs to be tested as data from files may or may not be accurate, perks may or may not work, or work on certain weapons or damage types only.
Someone mentioned the old bug of disc damage not being affected by match modifiers and now it has me thinking I actually never tested disc with downrange or other damage modifiers… It may not affect it at all
It ignores bullet damage because CombiStick damage category is ESFDamageTypeCategory::Blade and FT Armor for Slashing is 0.5.
Don’t ask me why they use damage category Blade for Combistick throw. Perhaps Alice’s Friday afternoon commit… Bob isn’t here to add Combistick damage, fuck it, lets use Blade, we change it later… on Monday Bob adds Combistick damage, but Alice is already working on someting else and it stays in the definition for ages like that.

yesterday in private, I was a 185hp support, I received a headshot with a combistick throw. this is not understandable
That “Bug” has always existed, but it seems in the last patch it is happening more commonly.

Rumor has it that some players know how to replicate it consistently, which would transform that bug into an exploit. But as of now, is just a rumor. We haven’t seen enough.
I have been playing for 4 years, I have never experienced this bug in pubs or in private, there is also instant death from the first time you are knocked down

It’s always been a rare bug. I’ve only seen it happen once before last Friday. And it was like 2 years ago.
I’ve done it to others by accident and have had it done to me, it was rare before but now it’s common as fuck now I guess

Yeah it’s silly, I don’t actually know how they are able to keep track themselves unless they have notes, for example even nicknames being somewhat a pain if illfonic has editors who maybe are not fans of the franchise and just want to work and cant figure out where shit is
