Ok well im on PC and i can confirm that full team of PC players do go balls deep when they put you in second wind… and you can hear them over COMMS yelling GET HIM HE IS in second wind… like its scarylol they just knife the fk out of u

Its funny that you feel that way and say that guns should be what kills them rather than blades because in the actual movies guns hardly ever kill any predators.

Punch, and the upgrade predator majority of damage was done by the ships shield and an explosion but there was a handgun to finish it off.

That happened to me yesterday night except I just shot them all with the PC and they ran away. What was annoying to me was that I had match on derailed and the team immediately went to that big building in the center camp with the trains. They completely ignored all of their objectives and stayed within that building and waited for me while covering ever entrance. The entire 15min match consisted of me trying get a couple of pot shots and downing a few and them finding ways to get up into some of beams that they aren’t supposed to get to. In the end I won because of the timer but the entire match made want to leave because of how boring it was. Also did anyone else know that the smart disc can be destroyed?

I had no clue that it could be destroyed, I haven’t used it in like a week though, so…
Tbh I’m not truly sure if can be or not or if it’s a bug but whenever I throw it and it gets stuck somewhere near the FT it will disappear from my screen and my map, the icon does not pop up and if I go to where it was it’s gone. This has happened pretty much every match when I’m using it and only when it’s near the FT.
Problem solved, if the FT fails to complete the mission, you get 0 XP, and 0 V. People won’t want to waste time if they aren’t getting any loot.
So running with the knife out has a pretty big speed bonus, especially on the lighter mobile clases.
Rather than nerf up damage of the closest range weapon, what about decreasing reducing the speed bonus?
You can haul major ass as any class with that thing out.
I actually like it in the sense they had an honorable fight in a field. The Yakuza also died, not just the Falconer.
Or, you could only get 2 parries before the predators superior metallurgy in it’s weaponry snaps the knife blade, and then you don’t have it anymore. Just a thought.
It would make FTs more conservative of how they use it.

Thing is thats only major defense against getting melee rushed or spammed.
Stamina and timing has brought parrying a bit more in line, like everything in this game, still needs some tweaks and fine tuning.
But if the FT couldn’t just whip out knifes and instantly be able to keep up or be right on you it could serve the purpose.
They would have to sprint more distance since they can’t glide across it, use more stamina and then confront you with less stamina that once the luck/timing runs out hes taking damage.
At the same time if they’re desperate to chase you could just lead them on and burn time, they’ll have to double back, again knife wouldn’t be able to have them sprint back so easily
This ain’t new it’s just as time go’s on more and more people are going to feel confident enough to do this.
They need to make a parrie take like half your stamina atm it takes barely any

Precisely, I’m more confidant with the knife as an FT. Cause after the second parry, the Preds stamina is gone wtf is that BS.
If they are using knives and grouped up all you gotta do is spam fully charged plasma blast my guy.
If they decide to actually shot you then, just cloak, run somewhere else, do it again. The best way to counter close range is with range.
🤦🏻♂️ another get gud moron, it has nothing to do with that. I win 95% of my matches as Pred, mostly FT wipes, and never self destruct. I understand how to counter close combat. But you’re failing to address the base issue here, the FTs shouldn’t be as fast or faster than Pred with knives out, one knife stab should not do more damage than Preds wrist blades, it needs a tweak.
They should make the stamina pool larger, but regen very slowly. Or not at all.
Also look at the customization and loading screens, the Predator is taller, and stronger than the FTs,. Taller = longer strides, it’s simple biomechanics. You don’t see an FT holding Predator off the ground by his throat do you.
