It is a aird deathworld, but Predators do live there. There’s some creatures there too, different tribes of Predator and what not.

Alien protagonist on an alien homeworld with subtitles no human looking characters is a horrific nightmare for hollywood suits.
In their defense it kills the mystery and some things are better left to imagination.

They tried but the AvP movies got canned and while at one point brought up for solo stuff didn’t take off.
Requiem is literally the only time we’ve ever officially seen it in any media.

Yautja Prime in the Predator: Homeworld comic
The Predator: Homeworld comic offers us a quick glimpse at the Predator homeworld. Again, it seems to be a rock-based planet with little vegetation. The planet has two moons, a green one, and a red one. The Predators themselves live in simple tribal communities similar to Native Americans, in caves or simple structures. The characters in the comic speculate that the original homeworld of the Predators was actually Earth. They evolved on Earth swamps from reptiles and left the planet to seek a new home. That would explain why the Predators are somewhat similar to both humans and the reptiles of Earth and have a fixation on hunting on Earth.

The chemically augmented/slave race stuff was actually done as apart of the backstory for the Alpha Predator which came later.
2018 is them finally using genetic augmentations for combat but it wasn’t tied to the backstory.
Doesn’t Alpha retcon Homeworld though? The human characters following the Elder take on the Bad Bloods were like making up so many theories and shit.
According to official lore it has two major biomes - lush wet jungles and radioactive deserts… and it orbits two suns, one of which gives its emissions only in infrared light - hence the reason creatures from Yautja Prime evolved to see in that spectrum. Planet has a nitrogen rich atmosphere but apart from oxygen, large % of it is methane – so its unbreathable for humans. This also happens to be the reason why creatures from Yautja Prima have glowing blood – its cooper based, not iron, like ours.
There is literally 0 informetion in canon regarding any moons of Yautja Prime

Alpha Predator is not the origins of the Yautja it’s the Hish, which is basically a cousin race to them

The Hish were the Ancestors. This sorta but also not retcons a couple of novels but nonthing much else.
Forever Midnight and stuff can still happen, it’s just that they’re Predator Hish that aren’t really the same as Predator Yautja. Just like how Neomorphs and Deacons aren’t really the same as Xenomorphs but are directly related.
