I’m sure if you spent some time getting to know some of us, you’d find us to be rather pleasant and friendly. Plenty of Americans are abject assholes, though, so I can’t completely argue to the contrary.

I’ll just point out that making a sweeping generalization about a group of people is an inherently “American” thing to do. You’re unwittingly offering an homage to some of the worst things about American culture by participating in it. 🤷‍♂️
