One side cares about freedom of speech, one side only cares about themselves and if you’re saying anything that doesn’t fit in with their agenda they will actively shut you down, censor you and intimidate you…and it’s not coming from anyone on the right.

If America had taken the same precautions as Canada you would only had about 25,000 deaths at this point. I should point out we watch your news to and there are Canadians who behaved badly at the encouragement of your President, say every time he discourage mask use or down played its severity.

It’s funny, because I’m reasonably sure I don’t fall on the American dichotomy of left and right, being Canadian. Liberals here aren’t like your Democratic Party and our Conservatives aren’t Republicans. Add in the Greens, NDP, Québécois parties and a few others and you end up with something that both looks different and functions differently.

As a Canadian I’m genuinely confuse why Republicans, who are loyal to the party or the Party itself hasn’t seen the damage Trump does to them and their Brand.
If they had been politically savvy they would have used the Democrats to ditch him and had Pence. Who while he has his faults, is at least a Republican. Doesn’t make your Country, Party and his own Supporters look bad.
The man lies about everything, say what you want about your media, ours does fact checking. We have conservative news stations too, they even are confused by his behaviour.
Side note, if a smart independent had run 6 months ago, they would have a solid shot at taking the election. The fact that it’s a thing that very well could have happened is cool. The founders had decent foresight, they knew eventually someone like Trump would get into office and a party would enable it. So they left a small door to the White House, an independent can technically win the race.

You do realize that racist beliefs can be held be held by people of any race, right? Therefore, having members of different races doesn’t preclude the organization from being racist.
Hell, even the Third Reich wasn’t implemented solely by white people. In fact, many prominent Nazis after the war sought and received asylum in predominantly non-white countries.
Furthermore, that single interaction I described previously with a member of PB was not my first or only interaction wherein they espoused racist bullshit.
While they won’t openly admit to being a racist organization – few in this day and age will – they certainly have a disproportionate amount of racist in their ranks. You’ll never hear of a PB member talking about multiculturalism or the overarching theme of racial harmony in a positive light. And, like their hero Donny T they flat out refuse to condemn racism. One can’t help but wonder why that is.
