It’s impossible currently as the bipartisan shit has so much money behind it and everything’s corrupt from the top down it’s almost impossible to get anything but the status quo. Just career politicians feeding career politicans. Maybe 20 years from now when boomers and cable are gone, but even with just tabloids and clickbait headlines its easy to supress the underdog. Most policies are at a state level and there isn’t anything the president can do about it regardless, you’d have to get people to go out and vote for things other than the president and that’s something people are intentionally left in the dark about. They just push presidency, presidency, presidency as if whoever’s up there is king.
You aren’t wrong about the money part but for the first time in American history both parties could lose to someone who was preferable to either. It’s probably too late now, but someone who played the middle had a real shot imo.

What do all these uber rich people do with their money? Seriosuly, I would just get a mansion some nice cars and maybe some chicks on tap. what else can you even do with money?

Being rich would be nice in terms of the freedom the wealth would provide, but I enjoy simple things in life, like great food and good wine, and that I can get without having to be a billionaire.
The only reason I would like to be really rich is to have “fuck you money” so nobody would have any financial influence over me.
I think in the end money brings power and influence over other people and that is what the rich crave. Afterall, no one really has 100% control of their own life, much less anyone elses. But money brings illusion and I find it odd those with some always strive for more.

True, we can not escape that others will have some sort of influence in our lives, but having great wealth can certainly decrease it. Of course it depends on what your wealth is tied up upon.
For some it will never be enough. It probably comes from a hunger which again likely comes from some life experiences that ultimately weave a psychological profile which always will be wanting more.
Some people can be mystery, especially if they have very different perspectives from one’s own.
Make more money. There’s always something else to buy… a yacht, 2nd or 3rd house.
I have lots of interests and could easily fill a warehouse with books and hobbies but to be honest, if I had that kind of money, I would be to busy just using the things I’d acquire. Couldn’t be bothered with making more.
Money gives people access to things and an illusion of safety. I’d rather be entertained. Who needs illusions when you have distraction.
I would def have a mansion with a library and a massive garden filled with the wonder weeds of this world. I would also open up a restaurant with my grandmas italian recipes. Why dont these super rich folks bring back the small business to our communities. Im tired of getting everything off of amazon and just getting bezos rich.
Glad, I’m not the only one who would buy books. I don’t need a mansion though, then you need staff and gardeners and all that crap.
I’d completely renovate a warehouse and build whatever sort of house I wanted inside. Think like movie sets but complete and functional. Then use the rest of the warehouse as a subdivided space for various things. The library would be in the house but the whole building would be temp controlled and as self sufficient as possible.
When I was younger I wanted to have a house where the rooms could be moved around, think I’d try that.
It would just be a warehouse outside though, privacy is important.
Yeah the staff for my mansion will be a bunch of hot chicks. Once they are no longer hot they are discarded. We will also have roller skate and jacuzzi parties with the best food and booze available. Playboy mansion is where it was at.
I don’t think I could tolerate that many people in my house everyday.
It’s certainly an interesting idea though. I understand why Rome fell, you could definitely be distracted by all that.
