Their morality is simple Blue & Orange to our Black & White. It has been shown they have equal capacity for good actions & bad, just like us. To us they are evil, to them it is just life and to their credit they are not Monsters. They seek only a good fight, they do not attack the unarmed, they don’t go after children, pregnant women or the sick. And there’s been several examples of them helping out innocents & defending the unarmed.

In Predator 2 City Hunter saves a rape victim from a gang of voodoo torturers. He doesn’t harm a child. He lets a pregnant woman go.
In AVP, Scar tries to let an old man who is sick go but Weyland chooses to continue the fight and Scar retaliates in Self Defence. He then continues to work with & defend an unarmed human woman, even making weapons for her to defend herself. He gives his life to help her defeat an Alien Queen.
In Requiem Wolf literally comes to Earth to save it and gives his life fighting the Xenomorph infestation, dying in a stalemate with the Predalien.
In Concrete Jungle Scarface comes back to atone for his sins & ends up saving the world from Borgia Industries, stopping their use of stolen Predator technology & DNA for creating an army of super soldier cyborgs.
In the comics a Predator defended a small child from their drunken abusive father.
They have the capacity for good, they are not inherently evil.

In Predators, Machete was used as bait; though he was dead already (mimicry)
And all the Supers are Bad Bloods. Thus explaining their more brutal, savage methods. Hell they even captured a Pureblood Pred and were crucifying & torturing him for shits & giggles.

It feels like at that, they should not use nuke cause the end of the fight is rigged. They should lose their gear/weapons.
Hell you can make a good case that for a large portion of Predator 2, City Hunter isn’t even a villain. He’s doing a better job at stopping the gang war & cleaning up the streets than the police are.

Wolf came to earth on an ego trip solo. im not even sure you can say they have any feelings of responsibility for the predalien situation, only 1 pred bothered to show up, and humans had to take care of things via nuke anyway. he accomplished their helicopter evac by accident after killing someone and gave them pred tech I guess.

TBF the nukes are simply their method of Ritual Suicide both to maintain their Honor like the Samurai of old & also because… well you don’t want a bunch of natives running around with technology hundreds of years more advanced than what they have. We already nearly killed ourselves with our own shit, the OWLF are fucking stupid for trying to capture & use Pred Tech. Cleaners exist for a reason and it is to stop natives from killing themselves with stolen technology.
We’ve also seen the explosions can be super variable. They can be set to blow anywhere from a small room in size, to 20 metres to a few city blocks. Just depends on the inputs.

TBF they did teach early humans how to build & provided advancements in society for us, we must’a just done something to piss 'em off and that’s why they stopped helping out. At least a few of us are still allowed to join their clans if need be.

To the Yautja it is their culture though. Like many a Warrior Culture all of their weapons & gear is heavily personalised & earnt by its user, to them it represents their history, their achievments & personal growth.
Like the Spearmasters who hunt the Phoenixs on Yautja Prime. They make their armor & Combisticks out of the beasts, it is very ritualistic & personal to the user.
