I never took Joe’s reviews too seriously. Infact I think this is like, the 5th I ever watched? To me he’s like assuming a certain role to get his views/subs. You know? Perhaps I’m wrong and he does it because he wants this game to work due to actually liking the franchise?
With that being said. He is right about the lack of content in the game, especially for it’s price tag. There is no doubt about that. But this game isn’t an isolated case. It’s like the modern day standard as to how games are being delivered to consumers these days. Not that I’m trying justify it, but what else did you expect?
Does he go too far in terms of bashing the game? I dunno, I’m 50/50 on it. Mostly because of the excessive F bombs and sidetracking from his point. But Joe does what he does best. And he does it with what he was given. And I’ve mentioned it before in my earlier posts. It feels as if they were trying to be too careful with the game, didn’t want to lose too much money plus credibility on it and just went all or nothing with a beta/demo. So there you have it. Joe will review it based on what he’s got.

No, you’re confusing an opinion and a discussion as similar things. This is a forum where we discuss things, stating your opinion for the sake of it is fine but pretty irrelevant and kind of a waste of time but whatever. Just don’t be surprised when people attempt to discuss your opinion because again, this is a forum.

Joe is a huge fan of predator that’s why he dug in so hard. I haven’t been a berserker yet so I can’t speak on that issue. I rated the game 3/5. Matchmaking, optimization and lack of content is what keeps the game from being truly great. I think I’ll end up changing my score to 4/5 when it’s all said and done but only time will tell.

The problem isn’t that his criticisms were entirely wrong either, except some were patently false and utter lies and he even did cuts at point to omit contradicting footage evidence of his own clips for it and that he plainly didn’t know what he was talking about, but that these issues are hardly game breaking issues yet he presented them as if this was as bad as like fucking Ark or some shit and it was all the worst possible degree it could possibly be. That is just massively disingenuous. So even when he made criticisms it was largely falsehoods because he exaggerated, not by his words necessarily in some cases but by his tone, that it was entirely impossible to operate and, especially now, that just isn’t true. And then the rest was just him complaining he is shit at the game. And most of those issues are commonplace with most games especially upon release and sometimes long after.

You’re clearly missing the point, I’m not saying you can’t have an opinion. You can say whatever you like but it’s a bit ridiculous to post your opinion on a forum and then be shocked when someone wants to discuss it.
As I said, you can state your opinions but it’s an utterly pointless endeavour in this forum if you have no intention of discussing your views or other people’s views. You’re literally wasting your time.

There’s digging in hard and then there’s making a total ass out of yourself. And this is certainly the latter. He didn’t even get into actual gameplay until 20 minutes in all he did until there was bitch about connection issues which I had does happen and it seems to be wildly inconsistent for people in different areas. But then he made this video today, several days after the patch which que times have gone down across the board, and connections appear more stable and just omitted that entirely. And as I have said multiple times a lot of the issues brought up are fairly common especially early in the release of any game. And what little he did say of the gameplay itself was entirely personal feelings utterly detached from the plain numbers.
And he is a big Predator fan but his review of the 2018 movie, which has been universally regarded as a naked cash grab (which he criticized this game so heavily for being) that was a fucking travesty, had more positive criticism than this game? I think he is just another pop culture fella that only cares about sensationalism and action which permeates our media entertainment.
And now you are bitching that I have opinions? And am not some mindless fan boy perhaps? Ok.

Joe is making content so I get why he does these kinds of reviews but any mildly perceptive viewer can spot his hypocrisy, inconsistencies and personal bias. I always urge people to watch him for entertainment and never for insight- he’s a “gaming journalist” with a hard edged persona, nothing more.
What really bugs me is that he can actually affect the things he reviews because people take him seriously and I would hate to see this game take any kind of a hit due to Joe’s flapping jowls.
