I imagine a lot of people are going to be mad at that… pre-made’s mostly because they get the most benefit. Predators may start getting real good, at resource denial this patch. At least I think that’s the direction we’re headed Pred wise.

I’m confident the cloak will be toned down a little next patch. Likely when moving fast or a little streaking as you jump.

It’s best to play both sides of the game, my Pred game is still way weak. I understand far more then I can do, currently.

I played around 10 matches of hunt last night playing both sides and to me, the cloak buff is a great idea. Matches feel way more balanced now. You can still snipe, but the predator just has to be spotted first, which I think is just fine and how it should be. Just my two cents.
I’m not comfortable with the 3rd person view or the controls. I move fine but don’t have the Pred map memory to move and fight fluidly. I’m a decent Pred tracker as FT (why I main Scout) but my brain has a horrible time shifting between Thermal and regular vision. Finding them should be easy with my knowledge of FT but I still struggle to predict them.
It’s fine, my Jason game started really weak too, but by the end I was comfortable playing with one of the Death Squads and letting them hunt me. Takes time, but I’m sure I have and Clash will help I’m pretty sure.

The distance changes are great, I’m referring to up close and at speed, I believe Fire is as well.
The devs would need to start listening for us to be nicer to them, sure they delivered a new mode but it’s not something anyone wanted. Then they nerfed pred in the patch just before this last one making the game unfun and made it feel like a chore to play pred, the devs sense of balancing is completely wrong. They’re trying to balance a game that shouldn’t be balanced and that is the point of asymmetrical games, the monster/killer should always have an edge over the humans what does predator have that gives him an advantage over FT in combat? And this new mode strays away from that asymmetrical aspect of the game in favor of trying to turn it into their own cod mode. The more they try to “balance” this game the less fun it is.
Except that’s just being a smartass: the devs knew what the community wanted.

- Leap
- Slam
- Overcharge
- Better tracking, both marks that can’t be removed and target iso
- different vision modes, negate smoke, thermal camouflage
I’m sure there’s other things I’m forgetting but yeah it isn’t a short list.
Psst… they are working on things, things that will likely make you happy. Relax and enjoy the buffed Pred’s, Caster and Cloak. Hunt mode is still there and it’s fun.
