That goes back to damage.
That would mean rpg needs a nerf.

This is the plasma caster play that NEEDS to stop......
Damage is really good if you land your hits. Can kill a scout in 2 hits. But, Damage is strong, but nerfing the ammo bags and stuff would still keep me from spamming. Even with dmg nerf 48 rocket’s I can instantly load and spam is insane. Now imagine an entire FT with that setup.
Plus nerfing either uses or amount medkits and ammo bags nerf’s field medic in a way due to get picked up for over half health, but have to use the two uses on the gear to get to full keeps it from being a crutch as much and get’s FT’s to play a bit smarter.
Could also nerf field medic pickup time by increasing dex points where it is just out of reach for field medic unless they give up two slots and nerf 25 hp off of what field medic pick’s you up for. Dmg need’s to be nerfed on all guns by 4-5 damage and damage perks need to be increased by 2 points. so they have to give up more to use it.
I believe this is subject to a different thread and doesn’t focus on how much the pred is able to do this.
I play pred and avoid doing pot caster shooting, (focus of this thread and not FT) cause teams rage quit half the time.
I wanted to make this apparent since I started counting how many shots were fired, instead of the pred trying ANYTHING ELSE in its arsenal.
This type of gameplay shouldn’t be resorted to or a way to play this game. Or should at least have some form or repercussion for resorting to ONLY one weapon.
It ties Into why preds play like this.

You’ve kind of ignored a lot of what we’ve said in regards to this playstyle.
My biggest thing, this is literally, a slower version of ft dps.
So why is it ok for ft to have this rate of consistent damage, but not pred?
Considered ft can do it from multiple angles as many have mentioned.
The reason ppl play like this is because this is the best option atm.
Talking about these changes, if implemented, would bring back more styles into play.

Predator’s get stuck into one playstyle because of the numerous buffs and broken mechanic’s FT’s get, Other people complain about Pred melee much like you are about caster, so it got nerfed. People complained about Predator being too tanky so health and damage reduction perks got nerfed. Predator resorted to ranged play with the pistol, bow, and caster since using melee was a death sentence at that point due to lack of health and melee damage and it being viable. Then, people complained about the pistol. Got nerfed. People complained about bow got nerfed and had a bug.
That left only to use the caster being viable. Seeing the trend?

Well if you think being bombarded by caster like this is okay… then im not entirely sure what the point is, you’re trying to make.
There is no defense to this gameplay if you run, do objective, or fight.
I’m not saying nerf the pred as a whole, Im saying, being castered like this isn’t okay. (Hence the title)

I play both, what I am explaining is it has been made to this point because people continued to complain. You may not ask for it as a whole, but it leads to that.
Because after one thing gets nerfed, Pred has to use something else because they brutally nerfed the other. Then, because people see the new thing Predator uses all the time and think it’s op now they beg for nerf’s and it gets nerfed.
So, you may not do it, but majority do and hence why we are at the point we are now with only the caster being really viable and go to because the player base begged for everything else in the Predator arsenal to be nerfed into the ground.
Truly, if you want to blame/thank anyone for this game turning into Predator caster spam and never engaging up close even when you are alone 95% of the time in the games you play then you can blame/thank the majority of the community who are FT mains who pushed it to this point.
Personally indifferent to the Predator caster spam because I know how to counter it and punish him for it. So, why should I be concerned with it? It’s really easy to avoid and punish Predator for so I personally don’t see a problem with it.

This just isn’t true
The Predator cannot shoot at everyone at the same time unless they are grouped too close
At exfil it very is… being bombarded by the amounts of AI in the game and this?

I play pred as well and this shit is dodgy.
That is literally one of the easiest times to kill the Predator and punish him because he gets sloppy and tries to rush to kill you before you exfil.
Can’t do that when he’s 80 ms away shooting casters.

Would love to see a video of you receiving the same amount of casters and leave with the body or even exfil with a single person.

Still easy. I would say 19/20 games I’ve played as an FT and been at exfil killed them even when they did some stupid shit like that. the 1 time we second winded then ran and chopper was there so we boarded and left. I am starting to think it’s more of a you problem and you are solo queing with randos. @REYNOSO_FUA11, @KayneLucard, @Fire are some of my usuals I play with and you should see what Rey does to pred’s by himself and same with Kayne. None of us hardly ever die at exfil and a lot of times have killed Pred at exfil.
This was with a squad that was spread out. (At exfil)
Again, this is a presumption on yalls part assuming I’m solo queuing and taking my post for what it ISNT.
20 caster shots in 10 seconds can’t fly. (I don’t care who you are)
Nor can it be defended.
I’ve had tons of games with @REYNOSO_FUA11 and I could bet my left big toe, he agrees with me on some level. (Despite his pred main being scout).
20 volleys in the span this pred did, shouldn’t be allowed.
Not sure what else we are trying to defend here.
What doesn’t fly is what FT’s do and why the Predator is in a sorry ass shape. Again blame the community for constantly crying nerf Predator to lead it to this point. If they’d put their big girl panties on and actually work as a team you wouldn’t be having to worry about being spammed with a caster because predator would have a viable arsenal and not have to be worried about being shredded in 2 seconds for trying anything else.
