I deal with it because compared to what FT’s have it isn’t shit in what Predator players deal with. What stinks is Predator players are constantly faced with two choices
Caster spam for a boring match, but get a possible win for waiting 15 minutes to find a game
or
Try some of his other arsenal and get shredded in 2 seconds for trying something else then chased down in second wind and killed in 2 minutes just to go back to a 15 minute que.
If anything is bullshit that is. Main reason why FT que times started going up from 30 seconds to 2-5 minutes was because of this a lot of Predator players are either tired of being dumped on and go to FT or quit playing the game. It’s not fun when you are left to only use caster and can’t do much of anything else without being killed.

Does it matter the other weapons are garbage. Plus even if it they weren’t then good on the Pred for saving his weapons for a surprise.

The amount of time it takes for a pred to pot shot a caster (20 times in 10 seconds), producing minimum 70 dmg (no need to be accurate due to splash dmg) compared to the amount of shots a FT member can get in that amount of time, isn’t comparable.

Pot shooting plasma casting like this shouldn’t happen. At least to a killing degree. (Decreased dmg if you they want us to be able to pew pew), not to the point of being able to kill people with significant health with a base blast…
What would the point of full blasts be then?
Charge your plasma for 1 second and recieve 80% of what you would if you waited 5 more seconds!
ZERO incentive to EVER charge the caster to max.

Ok first off this makes me feel like you don’t play Pred enough TBH, because charging for 1 second does not yield 80% of a full charge no way no how, now if your exaggerating due to frustration fine, But here’s the thing unless the Pred is using Dithered Lense he telegraphs where he is aiming from every time and if he’s pot shotting like a machine gun like you say then his manuverability is a moot point because he can strafe around slowly like RE4 only, furthermore an uncharged PC shot direct body hit does less than an uncharged arrow shot and even less with the splash. So bottom line while spamming in any situation is not really a representation of skill by any means it is an option and unfortunately one that MANY new players are forced into because they have entered into this game as it is now, there’s not really a good opportunity for them to learn any skillful tactics when it really only takes one decent player that knows the ropes to lead the FT to victory, the situation worsens when these same new Preds face a Full Premade with veteran players. But crying out for the Preds to receive yet another nerf just because of a sudden rise in a certain playstyle by new players is a bit ridiculous because in the end that only makes the game even more one sided than it already feels at times.

Okay so I’ve been summoned and I’ve held my opinion long enough on this subject.
@Elliott626 while this is annoying it’s not overpowered and it can be countered pretty easily. As people have stated a sniper will fuck up that strategy pretty easily as will the plasma rifle since it can go through branches and will stop them from standing still and force them to relocate. While the pred is blasting at one guy the rest should punish since the pred is making themselves a massive target.
This to me is like the the jump shot that @weebykiwi does (not trying to throw shade at you, you’re a good player.) while it is annoying and I personally do not like it that doesn’t mean that it is broken since that tactic can be easily stopped by one good grenade throw.
If this needs to be changed or adjusted what I would suggest would be to reduce the fire rate but increase the damage and energy cost or vice versa decrease the damage and energy cost but increase the fire rate.
Mr Black comes with his full auto PC you better believe that better go full auto pew.

Agree 100% however annoying it may be you no longer have to guess where the Pred is and if you put enough damage on the pred quick enough it will make that Pred cut that shit out pretty quick.

It’s the same as when you get those people that keep deciding to go in for a melee charge and get melted in seconds they just don’t don’t learn and are essentially one trick ponies. Best you can do is fuck em up bad enough that they won’t try that shit again.

alright so it’s worth mentioning i agree mostly with Fire and TentacleDadi there takes are pretty much spot on in my earlier post i was just giving the example as i hate people that ask for a change but don’t provide anything substantial to explain there thoughts while the video is good i want to know the numbers that the person thinks is acceptable and their case why it would be
that this really isn’t that big of a deal to warrent any crazy nerfs considering we got here because of too many nerfs and buffs being one sided that this boils down to simply the best strat at a certain point
i tend to be a bigger fan of buffs rather than nerfs
if you really wanted to stop this in a solo que situation you’d run something like these 2 loadouts
OLWF op Spotter/sniper
sniper rifle of your choice or the GOSLR/hammerhead
2nd doesn’t matter but the recon GL is a good choice for synergies
field syrretes Anti cloak grenades regular grenades or med bags and thermal decoys or UAV and anything else listed here
thick skin/Ice cold and OWLF take ICE if your going spotter take thick if your going sniper
ICE + spotter means your literally immune to thermal vision as operative this means the predator can’t easily shoot you from far distances as he can’t switch thermal on/off to see you from farther away accurately
Dante field medic/fanatic: were gonna go for the build that gives you 355 hp (not joking)
field syrette med bags
OWLF thick skin body armor
guns should be a sniper rifle + any fast firing 2ndary weapon like the first SMG or the 2nd pistol
whenever you sprint you gain damage reduction remember that whenever you use the syrrete it gives you a fast regen of 100hp without that regen you have 255 hp when your sprinting literally just run as often as you can if your not shooting
it takes literally 2 full combos with the alpha sickle to kill you as a berzerker with fearless which is the fastest DPS available to the predator
