A terrible, bad, unhealthy idea! A predator should NOT be Jason at all. He should not be a TANK, I do not mind that he quickly dies, this happened to him, old Alien (yes, I love the stranger Cameron more than Ridley, no one can blame me for this.) Killed them for 1 blow! There is nothing wrong with the vulnerability of a predator, but it has nothing to give it an advantage over a detachment, camouflage sucks, weapons almost sucks. Classes? They are suffering. The average predator player should be a problem for squad players. A GOOD predator player should be … ahem, “The jungle came to life and took it.”

Are you serious? You’re not understanding bud. You say the pred should win 50% of the time. That’s what everyone is saying you moron. You’re defending nothing. The predator doesn’t win 50% of the time. I play human I win every game. Haven’t lost to predator 1 time since the first like 3 games I’ve played. Literally not once. As the predator, you can clearly tell whos new and who has played before. New people split up on day 1, now as time goes on, already in 2 days im being parried left and right, cant do shit. You are hunted as the predator. Yo should rely on YOUR SKILL not the OTHER TEAM BEING FUCKING HORRIBLE. Which is what you think for some reason. If I’m good at predator, I should win every time unless the otehr team is skilled as I am. But you don’t need skill. You just need to be 10 ft away from your team and itsover.
Your only argument on this forum has been “use the net gun” which is completely useless when playing against any competent fireteam.
How do beartraps separate players? Literally tell me how something that stops players from moving helps the predator to split up the squad?
More often or not they’ll just stop and wait, since they now know the predator is in the area.
Or they just run the sixth sense perk and completely ruin that strategy.

The devs probably are not reading any of these topics and messages. So far nothing has been changed in the predator gameplay despite he’s been so underpowered in comparison to the fireteam.
Perhaps the patch is just getting ready. Large-scale changes are not made in a day or two. Especially at remote work. I would very much like to increase the asset in this topic to the maximum, so that everyone pushes it upward in an organized manner, resonance creates a unified opinion. Consensus creates the need for reaction.

If the fire team cuts the net that’s at least 2 ppl that aren’t focused on you(one in the net, one helping), they’re busy handling that. That should leave you with the one individual to focus, at most 2 and if there’s 2 ppl dealing with the net and 2 you have deal with, you should be asking yourself why you jumped into the middle of a team of 4 and tried to melee. As Iv said, I’m certain the majority of issues most of you are having comes down to skill and tactics. Not the Pred being underpowered.

Not it’s useless in the hands of a less than skilled player. Why the net gun and bear traps are helpful is it takes a player or more out of the fight, even if it’s just briefly, it’s all you need. If you down even a single player the damage you can do can be catastrophic for the FT. In one of my final games last night, I killed a straggler who was lagging a bit behind his team. Then retreated. Caught back up to his remaining teammates and used the bear trap on one, jumped to the ground and downed another then acted as if I were retreating again, when the 3rd teammate came to revive the downed team mate I downed him then finished off the dude in the bear trap. Pick your spots. Time them right. You’ll be fine.

I’ve still won 90% of games as the predator bud. Lol. It’s just when people know how to play adequately at all you struggle super hard. I’d be willing to bet there won’t be any large scale changes, none the likes some of you want any way. Small tweaks is more likely than any sweeping changes. I foresee most of you exploding after the first patch as it won’t address the grievances some of you have.

Also when you talk about the bear trap you need to realize that only hunter and berserker can even carry them. Does that not seem like a fundamental flaw to you lol? The class that’s weak as shit and would need traps to win, MORE so than the other two is the one that can’t carry them? Like I said you’re a clueless pleb. Also these are minor changes. Shit like weight changes to scout. Shit like making the cloaking slightly harder to see. Making the spotting slightly harder to use. They are small changes once more you’re proving that you really do not understand the way video games are built.

Class. But I do not play berserker. I am also for making him more … a predator. But look at the hunter and the scout, they feel bad, man, they are VERY hard, unjustified.
The scout is designed for hit and run. Long distance attacks, the plasma caster and bow specifically. I’m not disagreeing with you that maybe the Scout should have slightly higher gear weight so it could carry a bear trap or other item, I’m just stating it’s role, which is that of a distance attacker and hit and run.
