Oh my god man…this forum is just proof that balancing any 1vs4 game is nearly impossible. IT doesnt matter how leveled the pendulum stays, people are always gonna bitch about something.

The Berserker seems to be a hot topic on here…why? He isnt strong, and he isnt weak either. Funny how its always the FT who throws a temper tantrum when a Berserker melees them down, ive seen Berserkers try that in my matches as the FT, he gets MELTED, so wtf is the problem?

This game is in trouble, lets not kid ourselves. If it had released with amybe 2-3 modes, 5-10 maps, and double the cosmetics,some ranking system and maybe an infinite levelcap(for those who cares about shit like that), this game would have had a great start.

It seems people are so busy arguing over balancing they forget the ACTUAL problem, content.

Now, Illfonic better have an AMAZING content patch in the works, and ofc balancing, because its clear this game has issues left,right,top to bottom, and also ALOT of bugs and the PC port is horrible.

Very true, i see that thrown around as if it actually means anything. It doesnt.

A level 10 can be significally better than a level 100, this is not news.

Exactly. The level is not a rank, just a bar used to unlock items and classes. It means nothing.

But if you balance it towards the casuals the Predator would be so underpowered when facing good players. Or vice versa.
And casual players won’t improve if they aren’t faced with a challenge that they have to overcome.
If those said people leave the game blaming it for unbalance they didn’t even have the will to try and improve and just wanted an easy game where they wouldn’t need to put in any effort into it, thinking that they are already 1337 players or something.

Sure this game probably need some tweaks here and there. But remember that it’s a very tricky thing to balance an asymetrical pvp game. If not impossible.

Especially when you consider that the game is less than 2 weeks old. So its not like anyone really has a HUGE amount of gameplay time over anyone else yet…

So find a team of 4 ? Because you can’t find a team you want fire team members to be OP and be able to take the predator 1v1 when it’s a 1v4 game. I’ve played as both 50+ games as the predator 100 as FT I can count on 1 hand how many times I lost as the predator and 2 how many times I lost as the fireteam. GET GOOD. PRACTICE. BE BETTER. LEARN TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR TEAM. If your TEAM isn’t communicating you WILL lose and that’s exactly how it should be. You’re crying a river, I haven’t lost as FT in the past 2 days, I’ve capped the predator several times through teamwork. Day before I played as the predator like 30 games straight and lost a total of twice.

TRADEOFF, he’s the slowest and loudest predator in the game with the least amount of energy reserves, but has the most health (Tankiest) and hits the hardest. He’s doing exactly what he’s suppose to be doing

Of 4 no, but i got 1 buddy and we are winning a lot right now. Its not just about ME. Its about killing this game. It already does not have a big playerbase (check the ques). We can not afford to lose the casuals. This needs to be balanced carefully so random people can compete against predator if not they will stop playing. But each of you is free to do as you wish.

He should not be able to leap in the middle of 4 people, kill one, claim him and then leap away and not die. He needs a health nerf but believe as you wish. At least reduce his speed/leap ability if he is damaged. I already stated why its not balanced in the OP.

The age of the game did not seem to be a problem when asking for predator buffs. Double standards me think.

I’m gonna tell you like I tell everyone else get good, I’ve had no problems killing the predators and I’ve had no problems killing the fire team, if you aren’t skilled you will suck no matter what they do, if they nerf the predator I’ll destroy them even more then I already am.

And I will say it again, its about the level of “working together” and how much effort the predator needs to do to overcome. A good example is the one I already gave with the combistick berserker and how much effort it takes to execute the attack and how much it takes to counter. If it takes far more effort to counter, equal skilled people or even somewhat superior ones are not going to be able to do it.

You try to give a clever reply, but its highly illogical. The average fire teams are destroying preds by the numbers, its that easy.

So anyone playing FT atm and complains about pred being too strong, is either not playing as a team or the whole team are really bad.

Stay together, mind positioning, keep los on eachother, use a headset because you hear if pred is in the area. Learn to actually play.

You don’t say. Problem is random don’t do that. Why do you people don’t really read my post. If you balance this game just about well coordinated teams, its going to kill it for randoms. If it kills it for randoms, how long do you think predators are going to be in que for? Predators are not even satisfied with the current buffs, they want MORE. Just read thee first page mate.

Not intended for randoms. Game is intended for 4 players teaming up to try to survive being hunted while doing the objectives. Killing the pred is bonus.

Preds want more buffs because 4 man teams literally shred the preds or call chopper under 4 minutes. Are you that unaware? I can take you with me to kill some preds. Its actually boringly easy…

Predator in current state Over boosted. Most of unskilled players (not all) has fun to wins game easy by unbalance regardless of skill. Since patch 1.06 i had lots of games as Predator and i was stopped this only by one reason. Its boring to demean FT again and again. Option is simple: 1) Predator easy mode 2) FT hardcore

FYI, the in-game voice is proximity based and you can hear the opposite side. I’ve heard a Predator talking trash to us and you can tell your teammate’s voices are coming from proximity not over a radio. It should really be changed. Provide multiple channels so the FT can choose to shout at the Pred or talk over a radio to just their teammates.
