To the dense Predator players

Or people accept solo queue is a bad idea if they want to win and start networking. You know, making friends to team up with. Communities everywhere so just pick… Im sick of salty, stubborn solo players trying to get the game to favor their ignorant desicion.

Play pred if you want to solo :)

If that is so why are the predators crying bloody murder about the que? Why don’t they just create private games with friends/whatever and play there? Instant ques! Oh let me guess, only FT has to make “friends”… Perfectly legit!

Pred queues are stuffed because more preds are looking for a game then there are FT’s.

I feel like common sense is not so common.

Facepalm.

I agree with the sentiment on working as a team and let’s face it there’s always going to be that one Hero who thinks he can take the predator all by himself. I said it in another thread they need to give more tips to the fire team on how best to play. Like one example explaining spotting the predator and deployables that way they are marked on the minimap. The importance of mudding up (I know should be obvious) but there’s plenty of little things that the FT can learn to get better that way when they balance the game they can get a more accurate idea on what needs to be changed instead of a kneejerk balance to make one side happy be it Predators or FT.

The problem is that the fireteam was given a really REALLY strong tool to combat a melee predator, but the casual audience either: doesnt know it exists, or knows but cant use it properly; this being the parry mechanic.

The fireteam needs a seperate easy to understand and simple to use tool for casual players, like laying an area trap down to stun preds( kind of like the preds besr trap ) … or something along those lines.

A good fireteam will absolutely shred a pred apart, but a mediocre pred will curb stomp the average pub game because the fireteam dont know how to use the parry, this is causing the weird imbalance issues.

This IS the developers fault no matter how you want to look at it. Is parry effective? Yes, will the average player use it? Probably not… in my experience, no.

They needed some sort of gadget specifically to counter it.

At the highest level parry is more than good enough, but low level players need something aswell, dont know what it would be though.

And honestly, the pred does need to be tuned back some, killing a fireteam is laughably easy right now.

Ahem, with that being said lol iv been screaming at my fireteam that im being attacked while im parrying and healing and STILL none turn to help me after surviving for 20 seconds by myself… mind you im right around the corner of a building, so even with a tool… the fireteam needs to work together aswell XDD

[quote=“deanimate, post:3, topic:5132, full:true”] Balance for casuals who typically do not communicate and in general are not that skilled and when you rise above casual play then predator just gets murdered.
Balance for high level play and the reverse is true.

The autolock on for melee needs to go for this game, it should take actual skill to land a melee strike whereas now the combistick will just autolock onto a player despite you looking away.
