You can’t know if its after death until you get there. Quite frankly I’ve heard some very interesting stories from people that had near death experiences, even those with NO brain activity. So you never know.
As for the new franchise, I think we’re screwed considering how woke Disney is as of late (just look at Mulan). We’re probably going to get a women protagonist lecturing the pred about its privilege and ask him his pronouns :)

In avp 1 the chick that was main actor was basically doing a fantastic job keeping her self balanced from not being too manly or female like… she was like being both as same time which i liked…

Idk they are all in that area… i love them both… never did a huge mistake in a movie… transformers is a piece of work for its time back in 2007… the effects are like out of their time xD
TBH I really am not a fan of the terrible retcon for the “Trophies” they added in The Predator in fact there is not much in that movie that I like…even more so that its now “canon” but technically there are many clans that do things differently it would seem or they just let whatever new writer just do whatever they want with the mythos…
I’m not dismissing your argument but don’t feel this video is as conclusive as you seem to think. There’s many things that actually play against it. Him choosing to use a lighter bow, the armour they choose, even the expert saying he’s been shot with much lighter arrows while in armour and it still ‘hurting’, even through the armour.
The mail, padding they choose and even the armour stand. All work against it. I will cede that it is unlikely to penetrate the centre mass of armour, the armour isn’t equally protective everywhere though.
Well they did get the guy from the first movie to write the last one, man was that a mistake lol

Why use a net? Because its fucking hilarious. Preds like to play with their prey psychologically. They are indeed sadistic at times. But they have their codes. Even their weakest specimens could tear your limbs off with no effort. They’re essentially gigantic walking sentient testicles. This should be a mechanic, think how funny it would be running with a body of F.T as a shield, then when your done you can go up a tree and a animation of him skinning the body then hanging the body!..what? To sadistic? 🤣
