Sorry. Raiders of the Lost Ark is the greatest piece of film on this or any other planet. There’s a reason Indy was voted the greatest film character of all time, narrowly beating out Darth Vader. It’s because every single solitary moment of that film is pure gold. While Scarface is essential viewing to any fan of mob/crime movies or just AL Pacino in general, it’s fairly far down the list of greatest ever. Hell, Casino, the Departed and Goodfellas are all better than Scarface and Raiders is better than all of them put together.
