It just worked out that Scout were able to take down the shifters cause i think they have a better chance and fighting the continent folk when things are in the open instead of power and ignirance. The Reiss’s are forced into a pacifist state of mind as soon as one of them inherits the founding titan because the King’s ideology was forcibly passed down. They couldn’t change anything if they wanted to, basically had to hand over the founding titan or die bc its brainwashes them into pacifism. Which is why Grisha went on to exterminate most of their bloodline. And someone outside royal blood had to take it and hopefully alter the first king’s will. Scout’s were able to take on the shifters because they have Eren. The King allowed for the creation of ODM gear because it allows them to fight the titans and gives them the illusion of freedom, but doesn’t give them so much of an edge that they could actually win - so it doesnt threaten the kings utopia.

Elected Republicans are a bunch of soft-palmed wimps who have zero balls and never put up a serious fight on anything. Sure, they have show votes and show hearings, but when it’s time for real action to keep the nation free and defend its citizens and the Constitution from the socialists, they fold every time. Its easier to go along and get that lifetime pension and NBC contributor job if they play ball with the left.
