Historians throughout history would kill to have the kind of stuff Trump tweeted daily, about anyone else. The fact that he’s an utter failure only makes it more likely they’ll obsessively analyze his every failing.

It wouldn’t work at all. Remember the ACA? Big fat launch party in DC and savior of all things? Website crashed immediately and insurance rates up over 200% on average. I watched mine climb to over $760/month for just me and my wife. Where’s all the money go, especially since we were forced to pay it? I got nothing for it. And my deductible was $2500/person!!
Governments can’t do shit correctly. Thats why the smartest people are always in the private sector. The sleaziest, greediest, lowest kinds of people gravitate to politics. If you’ll notice, theres not one to follow Washington’s example and leave after 2 terms voluntarily. Theyre all shriveled pieces of shit. I wouldn’t lift a finger to save a single one of them if they were drowning in a foot of water.
The Technocrats are no better. They all believe themselves to be superior. The only way that’s true is financially. But they all have so many skeletons in their closets, its unreal. And they have so many because their money buys their innocence. It makes the supposed law makers look the other way. Its been like that for millennia.
The best the average person can do is try their best to have a good life and be a decent, honest, honorable person and if they are fiscally responsible, these things come with time and experience. And if they happen to be fortunate enough to have a great idea and it makes lots of cash, great. Rags to riches is pretty much the only way to be wealthy and not a complete pile of human waste.
I don’t think all politicians are bad people but the highest up you go the more of you morals will be sacrificed. You do it for personal gain and a slim chance that you might make a difference. An honest politician just won’t be able to get votes if he aims high enough.
I think most start in politics because they’ve had personal history of some disappointment in government and want to bring about change.

Just finished season 3 and saw the history lesson. So the shifters and the people were fighting over nothing.
They should have been on the same side, but i guess the shifters wouldn’t be able to convince the people without proof.
