Haha right? I was so surprised to hear this game was in production, I was sure The Predator would kill the franchise for a good few years before new stuff started being developed. Plus always got NECA and Dark Horse keeping the sparks going, love those guys.

Does seem though that some of our sci’fi monster esque movies just don’t work in modern cinema Predator/Alien/Terminator. :(

The last big hit that any of those franchises had jointly in the past 5 years? Was Alien Isolation. Excluding comics and novels.

Awesome. I love graphic novels, I had the original Aliens v Predator when it first published. I’ve been looking on eBay to find some Predator ones, I’ll give Hunters a read👍🏼

Honestly, I really don’t want any more movie predators or things like that. What I want are more mask and armour designs. I want to use my six loadouts to make my own Predator clan. Just like I’m having the six loadouts to be my own fireteam members. Sure, Jungle hunter and Dutch are cool, and I wouldn’t mind playing them in some fun rounds, just to kid around, but I like making the loadouts my own.

The reason Feminator:Damp Fart failed might be something to do with the blatant Feminazi agenda they wanted to shove down our throats, killing Jon Conner, Arnie became the Cuck-800 that “felt bad because he killed Jon, lost his purpose, tried to help Sarah while holding down a 9-5 and support a family”… Jesus, what crack were they smoking when they thought that would pass in the fandom. Didn’t they see what happened in the Fandom Menace🙄 Thankfully, I’ve never seen Dark Fate so my memories of Terminator aren’t corrupted by its utter “Fuck men, go Wahmen!” bullshit. I’ll take Genysis over that Tumblr nonsense thanks, and even that film was trash. They should’ve stayed with Salvation as it had promise, it wasn’t perfect but nothing that couldn’t have been dealt with…

The saying goes “Get woke, go broke”. The new Alien films suffered because the characters were just dull and had nothing for us to root for. David/Walter was the most compelling character but I refuse to accept that everything we’ve come to love and appreciate from the movies was just some Android being a dickhead.

I guarantee, a top notch Alien or Predator movie would be a box office hit. Maybe not on opening weekend because we’ve all been butt-rogered so hard before. But if it actually was a good film, the second week would see cinemas packed. The demand is there, but studios are too busy trying to please a small demographic of people who don’t even okay games, read comics or care about the franchise’s. It’s just “muh representation!” and nothing less.

It’s a shame Sega declared Alien Isolation’s 2.1 Million in sales as “weak”. It’s a great game. But as with anything I guess, it’s all about what they spent versus what they earned… which explains why we got a mobile game followup versus a console game. I still argue Blackout is fun though.

So I’m glad where Predator is concerned they went lower budget with Illfonic.

You don’t, but this game does refer to Predator 2 in it’s lore meaning it’s part of the game. Meaning “the easter egg” is part of this universe.

You can’t exclude one movie from the rest because the game was inspired on the first movie (mostly).

And now I’m seeing the Free DLC this month is just the paid DLC last month.
