What are the two games modes going to be called?

I know. I’m talking about the preexisting one too. It’s not going to be called quick play.

Unfortunately we won’t know anything about the new map and mode until Tuesday when it releases

The current one is called hunt. It’s been that since launch, did your grandpa who works at Illfonic not tell you about this?

No he is correct, there is another game mode in files, I don’t think it will be relesed next week though.

They found guantlet and clash in the files but they seem very similarly named, almost as if one is just a smaller version of the other

I bet we get clash

Which is fancy word for deathmatch

What else is quicker action and just plain fun?

I think it will be straight up death match without any additional players because that’s the easiest way to add a new mode.

If its just ft deathmatch, I’ll just stick to hunt.

Theres 5 max players in hunt,

Clash is max of 8

Gaunlet is max of 15

I doubt well get gaunlet, clash seems the most likely to me, but I hope they have optimization fixed before that. But I doubt they’ll leave out pred in mode since OKH, said it will let you explore new metas, which im all for the meta getting shook up.

Honestly same, hunt as core gamemode is solid as long as optimization and framerate is ironed out this patch.

I’m thinking since he said the new mode is for all maps, including the new one. it’s probably some sort of way to play the game alone. Not like a full SP mode but maybe missions you can do as co op with a couple preds?? Idk

Im thinking we are getting the 8 person mode, 2 preds and 6 ft could be wrong could be getting the 15 player mode since private lobbies can hold 15 players now

Gauntlet is 15 players
Clash is 8

That’s all the info we have really. Oh, and it isn’t at night or involving a queen Xeno.

I wouldnt be too sure about any of those FT member counts.

I’m betting they are either keeping 4 (because its so well advertised as such)…one extra one maybe. Thats all i’m betting on. Echo being it.
