Then don’t complain about casting lmao. There are solutions to each tactic and tbh, I’m getting a little tired of hearing people whine about being beaten by certain builds. If you can’t handle it, don’t play. You wanna use 4 Field Medic, I’m gonna cast. You wanna use Unleashed, PDLs, Deadlies, Spotter, I’m gonna use my arsenal. It’s just that simple. So quit bitching about getting outplayed and learn from your mistakes

Listen, if y’all wanna know how to counter certain builds, just ask. Don’t bitch and moan about it and expect to be catered to (even though Illfonic likes to do that). There are counters to EVERYTHING. Oh, you’re getting castered? Push the mission, pop the mask off(if you can aim for it), throw grenades at trees to flush the pred out of it, Throw ACIGs, do something! Don’t fuckin’ camp and expect the pred to be dumb enough to come scurrying in there for melee. Oh, you’re getting melee spammed? Knife that fucker, stick with your team, use your damn utilities. Although there ain’t much you can do against a melee pred alone, you gotta juke them around, wait for em to use enough stamina and then lay into him with your guns. Oh shit, here comes a disc? The easiest thing to dodge next to the arrows? Serpentine and jump around. Determine where it came from and blast in that general direction. Like I said, there are counters to everything! Illfonic wouldn’t have taken on this IP if they didn’t know how to make asymmetrical games, and they did an ok job.

Complaining about Elder Stalker is complaining about Casters. C’mon now. If you’ve played that character for more than 2 games, you know how he works. He does bring up a good point, but you’re going to be relying on your main gun for the most part. If I use him, I do. And I’m damn good at adapting with him. But like I said, there are counters to bow and disc play.

? Stalker best weapon is the Disc, it can oneshot most classes, second is bow.

Down someone with the caster, some guy goes for the rez, disc time. SLICE SLICE! BOOM! Down and if it’s a Field Medic, he’s down and most likely so is the guy he rezzed.

I’m not disrespecting Elder Stalkers because I’ve lost to them, I’m a Pred Main that match up ain’t happening outside of Clash and who the hell plays Clash, I’m disrespecting Elder Stalkers because they have no Honor and don’t work for their kills like the rest of us. A real Pred fights with Honor even if it means a loss.

If your opponents are using more than 2 Field Medics, got PDLs and Spotters, Deadlies, Unleashed, Duelists, and you try to knife fight them and they lay into you, where’s the honor? I see a lot of these “allstar” teams that claim to have a well of honor, but then they pull that shit. I agree bro, but it’s fighting fire with fire, y’know? I know you know, because I’ve seen you play and you’re not too shabby if I do say so. But really man, why respect their wishes when they’re gonna pull that bullshit?
I know the Code and I abide by it. Which is more than I can say for Bow Hoppers & Elder Stalkers.

If the Fireteam wants to bring bullshit into the Jungle that is their prerogative. I am not going to police how Fireteam plays, I don’t like playing as Fireteam it’s not what I came to the game for. I’m here for Pred gameplay first & foremost. I’ll fight as fair & clean and by the Code as I can. If I lose, I lose. That reflects more on my own skill than anything else. No loss has ever been the game’s fault. It’s mine for not being good enough. If I win, then that reflects better on me.

Bow hopping is even easier to counter. Just predict where they’re gonna land and fire at it. I’ve taken out so many bow hoppers unwilling to adapt, it’s not even funny. You get fucked harder if you face good teams like mine or Scarface that know how to counter bow hoppers
I believe in giving a fair fight to people of all skill ranges. I would never fight a team of randoms the same way I would a Premade. Does this mean I go easy on them? Not at all, if anything I toy around with them more and drag it out for shenigans. But lower tier Fireteams are not going to be able to counter META plays like Bow Hopping. And there’s no sport in using that on them.

Since when is bow hopping un-honorable?
Not my problem that you suck with the disc dude, also on pc you can adjust dpi on the fly and make the disc easy to use.
Everything is permitted
If there’s a problem with the game the devs need to fix it.
Bugs and hacks excluded
(Tech, which is bugs deemed ok by the community, are debatable)

I think maybe a Pred hopping around like they’re on crack whilst hipfiring a bow that for some reason the devs haven’t given significant drawing time between shots or implemented a system where the arrows just fucking fall flat on their ass if you don’t actually ya know, pull the draw string, is pretty dishonorable.
