Detest people that whine about things other players do or use and can’t do better if they were to play in the same situation. But if you actually can do better and prove it its okay.
Multiple field medics, the pdl tracker recon cock blocker combo can be kind of tiring to deal with. But then again nobody is forced to play against that if they don’t want to. If you want to fight against that you do it, if you are not in the mood you don’t.
Usually I’m okay with Predator doing anything he wants in situations like vs great PC premades cus if he tries to play with “honor” he will never win. Elders Stalkers did nothing wrong. I have killed PC Elder Stalkers 1v1 so its not free pass into victory that anyone can use. The number of Predator players that can put a fight using Stalker vs me when I’m on a team is very low. Same way that 4 supports, 3 being field medics camping inside the caves on Excavation using pdls isn’t a free pass into victory that anyone can use. Its funny how some players feel entitled to win just cus they play like that and get mad you for beating them.
I might not like much when I’m in premade team and since I feel sorry for the Predator and know he doesn’t have a chance of winning I decide to chase him alone cus maybe he can kill me in a 1v1. And then he just uses the netgun on me, plasma is more honorable than that lol. That’s what you get for being nice and giving the Predator a chance to not get melted in 2 seconds by the whole team. I think netgun is fine in most situations cus in most situations it will probably not even gonna work anyway.
Oh when the last guy just hides in the mud waiting for the time to run out. That’s boring just quit the match already instead.

The “problem” is that role playing as a Pred, in a game like this is the worst thing you can actually do in this game. It’s just not meant for it. Is that a a bad thing? Not really, just means that if you’re going to act like that, usually means you’re going to be shot up because somebody pin points you based off of sounds alone if they have more than 5 and a half brain cells.

This will always come down to individual opinion, everyone wants something different and that’s ok.
For me, i like the back and forth in the game. 9/10 times if i put the pred into second wind i’ll let them go heal up and come back for another try. Likewise, i like it when the pred lets the FT reinforce.
Not really into the deathmatch approach playing as pred; it’s fun for me to play around with traps, chip damage, let the FT do the mission a bit and then go in for the kill - will usually always let the FT reinforce.
Always looking for that GG with respect on both sides.

I respect a Predator that enjoys taking risks and can actually get them to pay off. Sitting back and tossing traps like a baby dick bitch is probably what I would say I detest.
I think the 15 second spotted marker on the Predator is an absolutely ridiculous perk and the bad thing is that there are premade teams that are using it too, when they don’t really need it and feels more like trolling than anything else.
Also field medics that have the touch of the messiah perk. Getting up fallen FT members within a single second.

As i said, everyone will have their own opinion, not a big deal man.
Netgun is absolutely fine.
It has a ridiculously small hitbox (given that is a huge net that unfolds), so its not easy to capture someone,
some people can break out of it in 2 seconds,
there is a visual glitch that Illfonic never bothered to fix, which shows the person that is in fact netted, as if he wasn’t netted, unless you get really close to them so you must be extra careful to see the white x symbol to know you made the hit or hear the person say “cut this shit off” or something,
a netted person is still moving way too fast and if they go in circles its quite tricky to melee,
when you aim with the net gun, the camera zooms too much, which in combination with how fast the FT members move around, can make you lose sight of them really easily
and finally if the predator is using the net against you, it means that he is taking a risk because we all know how fast even one FT member can melt him.
Plus with all the ridiculous advantages this game gives to the FT,
I dont think that anything the Pred does is dishonorable.
I 've seen videos where a person is shooting the Pred from behind and somehow the game registers multiple hits on the biomask.
This game is way unbalanced to ask for predators to be “honorable”.
Especially when you are a premade deathsquad and you friends camp out on the roof of a building for the entirety of a match instead of playing the game normally, just to troll random predator players.

I agree.
I was hoping this game would somehow make the experience of stalking and scaring fireteam members possible and have some cool moments with it, but instead it has turned into 4 elite specOps members versus a really noisy alien Tarzan.

This isn’t the movie guys.
This is a game where FT members get hit with arrows through the head and keep going, not to mention they can heal (while running) in 2 seconds!
How is trapping a person dishonorable?
You realise this game is a 4 vs 1, with an elite SpecOp team (with every type of gadget and weapon imaginable), going against an alien, that with the exception of the plasma cannon and gun, is not more equiped than an amazonian tribe member?
The only advantage of the predator was supposed to be stealth, but in this game its almost impossible to be stealthy!
You realize my loadout has consisted of Combistick & Netgun since Launch week right? I’ve only ever swapped it around when new weapons launched and that was but for a couple of days a time each. There is nothing dishonorable about the Netgun. There is no Honor in staying in the trees 100 metres away and spamming the Caster like a bitch. There is no Honor in bow hopping around the map like a methhead Bugs Bunny. There is no Honor in abusing Elder Stalker’s broken buff to kill entire Fireteams with the Smart Disc in a single throw.
None of these dishonorable tactics did I have to employ to have fun & prolonged fights, with varying amounts of kills, against people like BladeMaster, Jelou, Mojo_Rising & his Premade and so on. So I ask again, what is the excuse of other Preds who resort to such cheap tricks to barely even survive matches with Premades?
If you think the only Advantage the Pred was going to have would have been Stealth, and you think that it can’t be employed even at the worst of times, then you are greatly mistaken.

You dont need to tell me all that.
I choose to use bow and arrows even though its tremendously difficult to hit PCDS members exactly because they hop around as YOU described as “as methhead Bugs Bunnies”.
So since I choose to play with a bow, the only thing I can use is stealth, which the moment I shoot my first arrow goes to hell. Why? Because even though the predator is supposed to be a stealthy hunter, in this game, his arrows leave a big fat trail behind them.
Now, if YOU are able to take PCDS without using everything you mentioned as “dishonorable methods”, then good on you man.
But does that mean that these methods are dishonorable just because you specificaly can win without using them?
No!
Bowhopping against a good DS will get you snipped in 5 secs.
Shooting a plasma shot 100 meters away is really difficult cause it takes too long for the shot to land.
Smart disc can be powefull but again it takes skill to control it and if it gets stuck it can be destroyed.
Oh… and dont get me started on the absolutely ridiculous hitbox of beartraps that allows them to be destroyed even from within a building if the beartrap is thrown right outside of it and it’s hitbox penetrates the wall!
