Division Bell…Because its lacking Roger Waters.
Can you even call it Pink Floyd?
it was mostly written by David Gilmore. but then again Most of the Wall was written by Waters.

But then again wtf was the Syd Barrett’ shit about?

Syd’s writing was mostly about childhood and nostalgia. David Gilmour made some pretty good songs (On the Turning Away, Learning to Fly, Terminal Frost, Poles Apart, High Hopes)

And yes, you can call it Pink Floyd. Roger Waters was good, but David had his own take.

Well, i’m not saying its the best or the worst.

but the best was probably between The Dark Side of the Moon (1973), Wish You Were Here (1975), and Animals.

Because its easily best listened to from start to end.

I’m a storyteller by trade, IMHO They kind of had a thing going that didn’t quite take with me.

But here is a band that did exactly that and in the same style: I love these guys and their sound. Truely inspired by Pink floyd of the earlier era. Definitely worth checking out.

I never would expect so many of the things I like to be discussed here. It’s hard to choose a favorite album. Obviously DSOTM is amazing. Most of The Wall is awesome too, and I’d have to say Comfortably Numb might be their best song, to me. Although Time & Echoes are up there too. Especially the Pompeii Echoes. Sorrow & One Slip I enjoy too. I could honestly list most of their songs as my favorite works of music.

Animals took a few listens to truly appreciate how good it is. First time hearing ti I didn’t like it, now it’s great.

Animals is my favourite, but Shine on you crazy diamond parts 1-5 is so mellow i could listen to it forever.
