been playing the game for some time now, and i have been noticing a lot of issues with balance on both sides and quality of life. Just want to hear some of your issues so we can come to a conclusion on how to make this game more enjoyable for everyone.

@JelouGaming even on PC has problems with this game.
It runs like hell and can hardly function on PS4

only platform that seems to be running this game the way it should, is the PS5
even an RTX 3090 will have trouble running this game at the expected performance for the resolution (even at 1440P, which a 3090 will be overkill for any other game)

Not 100%. There’s still the FPS drop looking at sunlight on Excavation. Not as much as on PS4, but it’s still a very high drop.
Whatever your feeling on balance, there is one issue that makes the game extremely frustrating and unfun against try hard predator players in public matches.
Both the Bow and now the handheld plasma caster kill downed players way too fast.
2 solutions:
Option 1. Drop the standard revive time to be equal to Field Medic.
Option 2. Remove damage while downed, so downed Heath decay functions purely as a timer.
There’s the Bow, Buffed Plasma Pistol, Axe, War Club - Hook, and Disks. If you’re going to have low TTK then you have to make revives more accessible, otherwise, public matches are going to be infuriating rather than exciting, and you’ll continue to lose the general fireteam player base.
This isn’t the only issue, but it should be a priority.
I like the option 2.

These are horrible options. You cant base it off public matches. This game is already too ft favored.
It’s not even about that. The FT is only Powerful if they can learn to play. New players can’t learn to play when the veteran players can’t help keep the new guys in the battle, and nobody is going to keep trying to play when most of their time is spent watching other players in third person. It’s such a narrow view to ignore improvements in playability, simply because one side is stronger in competitive gameplay.
Ok but how many other games do people actively hold back on new players instead of just focusing on running them over? Like I have taught a few new players about some basics and stuff in this game, but that’s just me.
But thats not how it’s supposed to be or needs to be.

Everyone has already said feild medic revive time is too fast. Then we have the dead by daylight mechanic which many have been opposed to.
It’s not like pred really gets any breaks.
And on the flip side, what about pred new players?
With what you’ve said you’re pretty much ignoring them. Why Is ok for them to have to suffer and go through so much bullshit?
If you add in that second mechanic you’ve mentioned, you’re pretty much making it pointless to down an ft player.
You know me. I’m not trying to argue but I gotta call out if somethings bad. I hate the bow. But given ft damage is what it is, I cant justify nerfing it.
I really wish illfonic would just actually listen and communicate with us, but I feel it’s way too late.
Theres too much ft favoring people left, which no surprise, since the game is pretty much catered to them.
Pred focused players and fans who had good ideas got ignored and many of them left. With horrible balancing and performance, I cant blame them.
Also ft side is pretty simple man. They shouldnt struggling that much that they need to be heavily catered too. I feel your suggestions here Just focus way too much on ft.

The majority of us have given up, those who been here since the start. We still talk about the game sometimes tho, and even if its just for old times sakes, there reallly inst a problem with trying to tell illfonic about the issues.

Hahah uh yeah it would slide just fine in person Everything I say over a keyboard. Best believe I’ll say to you’re fucking face. As A Professional fighter. It wont end well for 90% of all people. But Its a shame that this community is riddled with such negativity and complaining all the time. No wonder they never listen to anyone. Maybe if people would communicate better with illfonic they would make changes and for the better.
