Can and will be are two very different things.
I personally think weâre more likely to wipe ourselves out far before that becomes a possibility.
And as far as killing me goes, death is a natural part of life. Wind blows, rain falls, the strong prey upon the weak, and everything returns to the nothing from which it came. If you can kill me and do, you only prove me right and you will be stronger. If I win, Iâm also right as I would be the stronger one. Death is not to be feared. Life and death are 2 sides of the same coin. Why fear the natural process that is the counterpart to your existence, and why be so focused on unbalancing that by delaying death. Should I die either tomorrow or 49 years from now, I have no gripes with it. Death is merely death. There neednât be such fear and delay of a process beyond its natural limits.
Say we can, and we do. Increase the intelligence, lifespan, and our borders as a species. Truly ascend, so to speak. When the universe returns to the nothing that it came from, it will not matter. Why put such effort into a futile exercise. Quality of life would go up sure, but without the struggle that we have, what context would it be enjoyable in. Everything has its natural counterpart. Without the negative, the positive has no meaning. And vice versa.
