Yes I do. After seeing it iin the Prey trailer and how would a sheild help? It would block all gun fire, it would block all melee…there i said it. FIght me!

So let’s review:

  1. The Shield would execute but not be fully defensive after about 1 second or 2 after deployment since it has a mechanical feature that takes time to be fully bloomed.
  2. I don’t take it would be full invincible, surely there is a time limit and i would attribute this to a sheilding function, otherwise, after the sheilding stamina timing, it would detract and you as predator would be vulnerable again. I would take it to be equal that of cloaking. Maybe cloaking would be disabled when executed.

I’ve asked for it before. Given it’s actually in prey I’m sure there’s be less issue implementing it.

That means a waepon to counter is expected…oh…we have one. Its called those EMP grenades?
BTW a sheild would only work when in front of a predator? I presume thats usually how they work?
i forgot

Even a shield requires one to not be able to do other things, like use of a bow/arrow. But you might be able to use a Plasma Caster or cloak.

Emp grenades don’t make sense as a counter. You sack of wine. Also yes, that’s what a shield is for. Would be better if it doesn’t slow you down and can bash firepussies with it -immune to being parried.

Why because on some oncoordinated team, there is only 1 genius whose not mining for V and is always looking for predator…but I guess that won’t stop the other 3 V hungry Potatoes. Once you expose a predator and he’s still using a shield (which you can probably hear the effects) , that V hungry potatoe will go…shit I better get the BIG PURPLE BAR!

Then why bother having a new weapon if firepussies are just gonna counter it then? Current season is nothing more than a rehabilitation program for firepussies who wanted to win easier games over a singular target as vent for losing a 5 v 5 in league of legends.
