My situation control is not very good as Pred, none of my plans are that detailed at this point. I have much hope for the new mode giving me an opportunity to get better as Pred though.
Why can't we cloak during second wind?

I like to think im above average im NOT up there with the best but Im good enough to win some matches, now againest premades, Im useless but Im slowly getting better.

You’re usually a neon green pulp at the second wind. I’m sure that’s why; it doesn’t matter

I sure you’ll get there, just need more matches like me. Pred definitely has steeper learning curve. So many things to manage during a match.
My biggest issue is the thermal, I want FT to have access just so I can teach my eyes how to see with it, in a more comfortable setting where I don’t feel so rushed.
(Pred is definitely rushed, you won’t hear me disagree with you about that peeps. Some of you do have very valid complaints, I just want it to be constructive, rather than just criticism.)

I use in thermal more than regular, cause its easier for me to aim, when there mudded up I dont even bother but you can still seem them. And yeah pred is very rushed but I have noticed over the last few patches it is getting better.

Just having a little fun with the “not a good look for you” portion of your comments. I created the thread because thats what forums are for. Discussion. I ignore nothing. I simply need not agree with other opinions on why this mechanic is good or bad. Asking why I created it, then saying I ignore things comes off as condescension, though its difficult to decipher tone through text. The fact remains, I think its a poor part of a good mechanic and I feel it should be changed.

Intresting while I will agree sometimes I can be reduced to green pulp I usually tend to not get second winded cause to me Second Wind= Death, for all classes not juts zerk lol.

Didn’t intend to come across as condescending, but, I get it, your question wasn’t so much about actually getting an answer. You just think second wind would be better balanced if you were able to cloak.
It seems like me and others on this forum agree that the second wind mechanic is in a good place, and everyone’s best course of action is to simply cloak and heal before you get second winded, unless you want to run medic and impatient.
Nah man, you just need a bit of thinking. A fully loaded marine has what? More then 100 kg? And assault rifle is what? 5 KG fully loaded, MAX! If you can move around 100 KG you sure can move 5 kg.
When downed you’re quite alert until you bleed to death. You can MARK predators, you can look around with no visual effects, not even your hearing is impaired… you can move yourself, again more then 100 KGs.
Now if you need cam footage of the nonsense you posted there I don’t know what to say.

Exactly. Preds should be able to cloak during SW and to balance that, FT should be able to use a sidearm when downed (and let us all not forget that the Dirty Harry .44 is included in that list.).

I was snarkily saying that when you, as a real person goes, say, out hunting and then an actual alien hunter slices you up with a smart disc and a massive katana, etc, do you think that you, in reality (not in a game) would be able to use a rifle? Probably not. You’d probably end up like Blaine or Hawkins.
If I can crawl around the way a FT does then it stands to reason that in real life the predator’s slice would not do serious enough damage to incapacitate you fully. It would be more of a glancing blow. You don’t need space magic Katanas to slice people up, real life ones do that. Or do you think that in real life if I lean down on a human for some seconds I can bring him back from the edge of death after getting cut in half with a Katana? But if you can crawl around you did not get a full hit in. Now stop with real life this or that, ITS A GAME!

To be clear, I am still in full disagreement with you on this subject. Under no circumstance, do I think it should be allowed for a predator in second wind to be able to cloak. If you want to heal while cloaked, you can do that before getting second winded.
