It’s been 28 days since any announcement has been posted on these forums.
Why are we seeing all this news on Sony blogs, Twitter, Facebook posts, but nothing here?
You clearly have an extremely active community here, and I think it would be great if these kinds of communications found there way here as well.
Because we are scum in their eyes, and unworthy of their presence. Even though we give the best feedback, bug reports, we do the work they should have (like work out perk stats, weapon DPS etc), and are more game focused than the brown tongues on Twitter, they choose to ignore us or even bother to keep us posted. They’ll post on PlayStation blog and Twitter all day, but the OFFICIAL PREDATOR HUNTING GROUNDS FORUM people? Nah, they’re basically like “Fuck those guys”. Maybe because we are too brutally honest?
Do I feel like Illfonic cares about me as a consumer and player of this game? No.
Do I feel like they care about this community here? No.
They just want Twitter likes apparently.
I certainly don’t think so and hope that’s not the case. :)
I think it’s probably more something like they have hired a dedicated Community/PR/Marketing person that handles Blogs and Social Media, but for some reason they haven’t assigned a dedicated member to these forums?
I know Courier and OldKingHamlet pop in occasionally, but I expect they do that purely ‘on the side’, and their primary focus is elsewhere.
So I don’t want to beat up on them too much unfairly, without knowing the full story.

Facebook is AIDS, people who think that their lives are so important we need to be told their every movement…and also where most Karen’s voice their distaste and disappointment.

They probably figure (not unreasonably) that unless they have news relating to Jungle Hunter, it’s not worth posting it here. Honestly, they must look at this forum and despair. The amount of threads/posts/time dedicated to discussing the same goddam skin over and over again.
Which is why they need to communicate to say yes, no or maybe to questions asked. I get they can’t answer everything. But come on. They could show us they are here and alive. Also shows lack of enthusiasm on there part. I mean what happened to their triva Tuesday?
This whole fourm makes me think of a classroom without a teacher. Some will behave and others throw their toys. Generally lawless
You know, that is a fair point. We’ve been focusing on social for the news, and the forum announcements as “this is an issue that could affect gameplay” location. If people would like to see more unified announcements, I’ll loop up people and have a chat.
Though, the Playstation Blog will probably always just be a direct link over there, as they are our publisher after all.

Yes please. I’ve always found forums to be the one spot where you can find ALL the relevant communications about the game.
What’s planned. What’s coming.
If anything you would see stuff on the forums BEFORE anything appeared on social media platforms.
You don’t need to allow comments on everything of course, but I think the community would greatly appreciate this being the ‘one place’ to go to for this information.

Communication is all we seek.
All we want is to know our voices are heard and that we can communicate on a regular basis.
It would boost forum usage and users and that would help Illfonic that they don’t feel like they are paying for a website domain for nothing lol. Go get your money’s worth.
