The only people who ever actually feel sorry for someone after they die are immediate friends and family. About 75% of people at a funeral will actually wanna be there and wouldn’t rather be discussing quarterly aquisitions or jacking off. You’d be surprised at the insignificance of the prescence one generally exerts on the world around them, and that’s taking into account the ‘small world’ coefficient/variable/can’t remember what it is.
Basically what I’m saying is a dozen people max (usually, there are exceptions) will actually care when you die. It’s an interesting thought.
All it takes is like half a dozen people on the sidelines succumbing to bystander effect and watching a cop beat someone down lol

Telling cops to shoot less of the lower class in high crime areas is a meme. If the cop gets shot its not like you care its just a hazard of the profession but if its the other way around lets throw bricks at the police station.
This is actually quite useful, because I can kill perhaps a dozen muggers in a high-crime area before I’m even considered a suspect after accidentally bleeding at the crime scene or eyewitness reports… they just can’t be arsed entrapping the guy who basically does their job for them, for free.
