This is just the Conjuncture at that time. Characters do not develop into an awareness of this sense, and no development of that idea, its maybe only as background. It’s just that such ideas were in the society of those years … and still remain, by the way.

I never liked and hated atar wars. Not see difference between old and new movie, except 1(2) and 8 episodes, they tried to be more complicated and change outdated and primitival sense

Most fun stuf is that you was disappointed only by one thing, and after it all the other flaws of the film begin to make sense to you. You are not dissatisfied with all these flaws, but just a couple of things. Because in the original films you did not pay attention to all this stupidity, As stupid, just adjusted for that time, but as you said, there was something surprised and therefore you like it
Thomas Jane ruined it for me. Too much humor ruined it for me also. Olivia Munn was the best part. Schwing!
Straight up no to this point. I didint like all the flaws because the movie sucked and there were a lot. I liked the original because it was a good film that was expertly paced, cast, acted, directed, and just a super bad ass fun movie that took itself seriously but also knew what it was. The new film has 0 fuckin idea what it even wants to be

I personally feel that the movie would have been better received if instead of the iron predator suit , the predators had instead brought Chris Hansen.

Yes. All that. The first movie is pretty perfect and has aged well. It’s not some dumb action movie like Commando. Which is a fun movie btw but predator at the time was edge of the seat stuff. Action, horror and a couple of funny moments with good characters and acting. Bill Duke is great in it and Kevin Peter Hall made the creature seem totally believable and not like some guy in a suit.

Just because an idea is new or different doesn’t automatically make it better which seems to be @Falcrus’s only argument being made. Completely ignoring the fact that they turned the final act into a PSA about how Autism should be considered the highest form of evolution instead of a disorder/handicap. The primary problem about that? They COMPLETELY misrepresented Autism, lol. As others have said, the fire alarms and barking dogs completely shut him down (accurate) but gunfire and explosions are completely fine (grossly inaccurate, lol)? He exhibited ABSURDLY misrepresented Savantism by being able to instantly understand Alien Tech/Language without having to study it AT ALL. Why would a condition that causes you to completely mentally shut down from sensory overload (sound, TOUCH, etc.) that is EASILY triggered be the next step in evolution or make him the GREATEST WARRIOR OF OUR SPECIES? VERY difficult to be a warrior/hunter if you can not handle loud noises, being suddenly touched, or complex emotional social interactions. Also Autism does NOT automatically include Savantism. It’s a social/sensory disorder that while it definitely shouldn’t be stigmatized or looked at badly, it is NOT going to improve your chances at survival. Which is the entire point of evolution, yes? Defend a bad script that completely misrepresents the point it’s failing to make? No. The understanding of evolution, Autism, Savantism, and well everything that the majority of fans love about the Predator franchise in the first place completely botched that movie. So sorry but it sucked hard and not in the good way. It disrespected the source material and the very conditions it was attempting to champion!

Being specific/detailed its Sci-Fi Lite Horror. Suspense.
The was big boom action but it weens off heavily once the stalking happens.

The lore issues were obvious and a problem for every fan except Falcrus apparently. I apologize for the novel-length post about my non-lore related issues with that movie. The lore issues would have been EVEN MORE long winded. So yeah, dodged that bullet with the long rant I did post, lol.
