Would Night Map Variants Be A Nice Supplement?

Malfunctioning sparks on a Predator- WIN for FT!!!

I think mud slow down would be kinda too much xD… altho its realistic… also yes i agree the actual cloak should malfunction but not die out… rather it sparks a bit and stops… and does it every 15 sec or 30…

Also… you cant really deny that night maps would be bad… it would actually be really immersive gameplay… picture like darkness crickets other wild life noises… it would be much more silent lol… AND IMMERSIVE

This scenerio would be a major contribution to the game - hands down! We are already losing our minds imagining it. Think about what the game devs are thinking?

No not silent dude, more animals come out to feed at night like you wouldnt’ believe. Like winged animals too…

The devs are probably overwhelmed and wanna take it step by step… which is understandable… BUT please do give out maps… its deff needed content in game… Generally they said them selfs they are present here and are watching… BUT yeah they are taking up statistics and pilling it up to see which one won and is needed more than another

Hmm yes i pressume it would be fairly loud but not louder than day time… at night Usually u have stealthy animals come out to feed or be active such as owls monkeys, other birds and other ground animals

My only thought about thermals is that people generally need to produce more sweat when it is hotter daytimee but your body temperature is through the roof…in cold night weather, your heart rate goes up but you dont sweat as much because the air is cooler and wetter.
what ever the case, there should be some balancing mechanic in there.

Ofcourse lol it makes sense that body does that and would be cool if they make it possible in game… generally speaking when human body is cold the blood rush is bigger but slower but also you would sweat which usually can contribute both ways lol… sweat usually happens to cool down the body extra… anyways… the thermals would generally be kinda OP considering most of the rain does impact highly on how plants and other structures look like under thermal… generally it would be dark blue but towards black…

In any case, night maps in fog/or rain needs to happen. Its literally in the last act of the first film. THEY CANNOT FORGET IT!

Its when its dark the true predator awakens and humans tremble… i think generally people would feel more badass to play as pred at night time lol… Like actually you can do so much more even like wait them at the actual objective and ambush them easier xD

So the way I read @MassImpact124’s reasoning was that it would be rendered useless, which it would be in my knowledge, if not the opposite of useless, extremely buffed.

The vid you mentioned by the way.

The slaughter house scene in P2 with the heavy water sprinklers affected the vision heavily

No problem broski here u go where he chases the cop and kills him with the wrist blades… you can clearly see its still pretty much darker vision easier to see the prey

Night mode would be nice to implement with the Samurai we are recieving at the end of the month.

Broad daylight will be very interesting for that hunter…

I fucking had to look it up cause i forgot the word.

Homeostasis.

Human body regulates itself to the 98.something degrees or whatever it is at all times possible.

Generally speaking pred is the type of hunter that hunts the best at the night time due its thermal vision and overall cloak… The fireteam as i said would have ability to isolate like a scope portion of night vision being able to see clearly the branches trees… and pred would be clearly visible to the scope if he is not cloaked…
