I’m considering adding this to my loadout (in place of audio decoys), but is it really any good?
I briefly used it while using City Hunter (when he first came out) and wasn’t all that impressed by it.
Is there anyone here who considers it to be an effective weapon, or can give specific details on the kind of damage it inflicts? If it’s only tickling the FT and not doing any decent damage then I may as well stick with the audio decoys.

It’s good to apply some pressure on the FT and get them to waste their syringes but against a support or Dutch it’s not gonna do much. Also good to shoot them with and follow up with a slam.
Tbh this gear needs a revamp. Its DPS is outdone by both the plasma caster and bow, its accuracy is awful and again both the PC and bow outperform it.
It truly serves no purpose and literally every other gear item is a better choice than it. It’s fun to use against potatoes though.

Plasma cannon or plasma pistal just seems more reliable.
It’s good for finishing FT off since you can maintain stealth when aiming it

Only use it when they are about to die as it is not a primary weapon
It is a supplemental weapon for close to medium range
If you get a lot of skull icons in game this is where it truly shines

This weapon is highly underrated imho! I use it often in combination with wristblades. Best perks to use is fearless or downrage, or both. One shot from wrist launcher followed by 2/3 swings of wrist blades and the poor fella is downed.
In fact, I’ve already told this story:
If a team is pushing and not letting you claim, get them to stealth kill and watch them roast.
I also do that as a troll if the last guy is running away and no reinforcements are available.
Couldn’t you get the same results with the bow or plasma caster though for less risk especially now that the PC was buffed and the bow is fixed with better hit boxes?
