I do it to. But that’s because I play other shooters and some of them refill ammo mid animation. When I remember to wait for the animation to finish, it works fine, its just changing your instincts.
But its like…why do you need to be on the rails? If they made it like the other games, they would at least have that as a comparison. Now its like, you must dance around certain things.

yes…and usually the cancel is by accidental because you used a health gear at a critical moment!
Or you decide to rock a different weapon when you really needed the reload on the original weapon and the reload animatin was too long!
To me…Reload cancelling should not exist. It should be a wait it out or mash the button until it is done.
But ideally, cancelling it isn’t even a logical thing.

if there is a CANCEL option for a Health Syriette by hitting any of the move buttons, were in some serious shit.
People did ask for it. Thats why its in the game. It was literally a request made by players because they would accidentally reload before getting to the heli rope. (Which massivly hurt the LMG btw)
As to accidentally canceling. Just have a bit patience. Thats not a problem with the system itself.
As for logic…
Parries literally defy physics. Theres bigger fish to fry there first.
As to gameplay. Siege. A tactical shooter. Has reload cancels. And not at base either. It took them like 2, 3 years to add, but they added and people love it. Theres a reason why we can do it. People love it. And that game is focused around statagies.

No. Reload cancels were not in the game at launch. (Or at least beta) and it was a problem with getting to the chopper. I specificly remember dealing with this problem with the LMG, and running the faster reload perk to help with this problem.

F is for Interact R is RELOAD.
Are you saying both your buttons (F and R- or PS button equivalent) were used for Interact?
Thats why they changed it so that Reload would not interfere with Interact.

The issue is that YOU CAN CANCEL OUT OF RELOAD by doing the the inverse.
And its not because you need to Interact with a chopper rope…but you need MORE AMMO WHEN YOU ACTUALLY NEED IT and you’re out of health!
So you do a Health Syrrrette and you exit out prematurely out of the ammo reload.
I did read this post. What im talking about, is WHY reload cancels exist. And defending reload cancels. (On console they’re one and the same)
Just because a system fixed a problem, doesn’t mean removing said system won’t bring back the problem.
Well, sometimes I need that reload cancel. Reloading taking too long and I need a knife or a bullet. Maybe its because I use the LMG, and it takes forever to reload, and I instinctively reload during even a slight break in combat, sometimes I need something more than that gun with bullets.
DUDE…you don’t need a reload cancel…You need the RELOAD TO FOLLOW THROUGH REGARDLESS IF YOU HIT A DIFFERENT WEAPON.
