Xeno's PHG Rework Part 2: "Fireteam Reworks"

Part 2 of my PHG Rework series of Posts. This one is focused around Fireteam Classes, Weapons, etc.

Okay so since Illfonic doesn’t want to change the Fireteam damage numbers and it’s been so long; I’ve had to think of a way we can rebalance Fireteam and lower overall Damage Numbers in the least ways possible because Illfonic believes big damage numbers are the way to go.

WEAPONS:

[O.W.L.F Prototype Rifle]
Change Classification from “Assault Rifle” into “Special”.

Change Damage Type from Plasma to Explosive.

[NRV-E]
Change Damage Type from Plasma to Explosive.
Remove Silencer Attachment.

Remove Extended Mag Attachment.

[Mercenary]

Remove Sliencer Attachment.

CLASSES:

[Assault]

Can now only use Assault Rifles as a Primary.

Can not use Sniper Rifles or Specials as a Primary.

Can now only use Pistols, Submachine Guns, or Shotguns as a Secondary.

Can not use Specials as a Secondary.

[Scout]

Reduce “+20% Damage Post Sprint” to “+10% Damage Post Sprint”.

Can now only use Assault Rifles as a Primary.

Can not use Sniper Rifles or Specials as a Primary.

Can now only use Pistols, Submachine Guns or Shotguns as a Secondary.

Can not use Specials as a Secondary.

[Recon]

Can now only use Sniper Rifles as a Primary.

Can only use Pistols as a Secondary.

No longer can use Submachine Guns, Shotguns or Specials as a Secondary.

[Support]

Can now only use Specials as a Primary.

Can not use Assault Rifles or Sniper Rifles as a Primary.

[O.W.L.F Operative]

Can only use Assault Rifles and Sniper Rifles as a Primary.

Can only use Special as a Secondary.

No longer can use Pistols, Shotguns or Submachine Guns as a Secondary.

[Dutch 2025]

Remove “40% longer Mud Cover duration duration and 25% faster Mud Up time” Passive.

Add “10% less Damage taken while mudded up” Passive.

Remove “25% less Hip Fire Spread” Passive.

Add “+10% Damage Dealt to Predator” Passive.

Can now only use Assault Rifles or Sniper Rifles as a Primary.

No longer can use Special as a Primary.

No longer use Specials, Submachine Guns or Shotguns as a Secondary.

Reduce Movement Speed from “7.3” to “7.0”

Can now only use Specials as a Primary.

Can no longer use Assault Rifles or Sniper Rifles as a Primary.

Can now only use Shotguns, Pistols or Submachine Guns as a Secondary.

Can no longer use Specials as a Secondary.

[Dutch 1987]

Remove “10% less Damage taken while mudded up” Passive.

Add “40% longer Mud Cover duration duration and 25% faster Mud Up time” Passive.

Reduce Movement Speed from “7.2” to “7.0”

Can now only use Assault Rifles as a Primary.

Can no longer use Sniper Rifles or Special as a Primary.

Can only use Pistols or Submachine Guns as a Secondary.

Can no longer use Shotguns or Specials as a Secondary.

[Isabelle]

Can now only use Sniper Rifles as a Primary.

No longer can use Assault Rifles or Specials as a Primary.

Can now only use Submachine Guns or Specials as a Secondary.

No longer can use Pistols or Shotguns as a Secondary.

Notes: Despite being unable to equip a locked weapon class for your Fireteam Class in the loadout screen, this does not effect a Fireteam Class from equipping a randomly generated Gun from a Weapon Locker In Match. So using a Assault Rifle as Isabelle or any other usually forbidden combination feels rare.

SPECIALIZATIONS:

[Deadly]
Add “increased starting ammunition for Assault Rifles” in addition to the already present text.

[Overwatch]
Rework to “Deal +10% additional damage to any enemy damaging a Ally.”

[Amphibious]
Rework to “Decreased Mud Decay in Water. Move faster in Water.”

[Fanatic]
Rework to “Gain a stacking Buff of +1% Damage for every single hit you land on a enemy within quick succession. Stacks cap out at 10%, a Stack decays after 5 seconds.”

[Field Medic]:
Remove the 1 sec Revive Time, but keep the added Health Boost. Add “Predators can not Claim if within 20m of the downed Fireteam” to the Spec’s text.
