But, Predators are not serial killers. We’re the deer. We’re the lions, tigers, bears, oh my. They’re not killing their own kind.

Guesses by Traeger. I heard Traeger theorize dna hybridization within 24 hours of Traeger wanting Casey to investigate if a human f*cked a Predator. It sounds like these hypothesis are still hypothesis, works in progress. He really has no idea what’s going on in Predator homeworld. (Thank goodness)

Fortunately for us the movie is very forgettable, and while Illfonic pushes and fixes the good stuff in canon… Sean Keyes, Stargazer as rogue now counter to OWLF… they ignore the bad stuff - autism is evolution!

Same could be said by a serial killer, that we’re not their kind. It would be semantics, but so is any argument for the Predators killing other intelligent life as a sport.

To return to my Bushido example, unless your code of honour applies to all people’s, it isn’t honourable. It’s an excuse.

On topic though I think that’s what they were trying to do in Predators with Topher Grace’s character and his whole “Im one of you” bit, it was just pretty flat and used as more of a poor plot twist than anything.

It was too on the nose, I don’t think Topher played it badly but didn’t like the character or the arc.

The guy who played Dexter could have put up a believable fight and potential even won, but the hunt would need to happen in the city and he’d need to be extra prepared.

There’s lots of movie things that could be done to make a human stand a chance against a Predator, especially a human who is hunting back and isn’t scared to use everything in their environment as a weapon.

Having the Predator hunting others and not being aware of him at first would be a good start. I rather like this idea and even have some suggestions for how a human could fight back. Way off topic though.

You just reaffirmed my statement. Plus the creators used the word “honor” too. So there’s no changing it if we like it or not… Sheesh, you guys don’t like stuff so you try to convince yourselves it isn’t true. And the same goes with “The Predator”. Me not liking “The Predator” doesn’t stop it from being canon. Thank goodness Illfonic and Titan has looked the other way with some aspects while improving other aspects like Stargazer, Sean Keyes, etc.

I’ll offer a counter argument. That code needs an ethical base or you’re just blindly following rules… that makes a code of conduct that acts as an excuse for clearly dishonourable behaviour.

So you must also adhere to what is right not just a code.
