Incredibly sheltered life. You know civilization is an extremely weak facade? Humanity is always 1 bad event away from the mask slipping and heading back into barbarism. The only way that the society you enjoy so much is because of violence that secured it.

Violence is the way of the world and always will be and to think you’re above it or hidden from it is ignorance of the highest order.

And good to know you side with poachers and are against wildlife reserves. Big game hunters spend tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars to go hunting which is used to hire and arm guards for the animals and help the local populace. The only animals they kill are the old/sickly/danger to the rest of the local animal population. You know what happens when a rogue male lion takes over a pride? He kills the cubs of the previous leader. So hunting a lion is usually hunting that rogue male so the rest are safe.

the deforestation caused by soy and agriculture is to feed ANIMALS in stocks, not humans. We only consume a little part of what goes in livestock, do the math or do research, it’s pretty logical.

I’m sure we can all agree:

  • None of us want animals to suffer undue harm.
  • Being omnivorous or vegan are both valid choices with their own pros and cons when we consider the environment, personal health, etc.

Hunting isn’t bad as long as it’s not commercialised to the point of over exhausting / destroying the live resources we have… The worst part is the commercial animal industry, both land and sea.
