You have to hit FT member 5 times or more with plasma caster to down them, itā€™s perfect the way it is now.

I kinda agree. I used the plasma pistol a bunch of times before the buff and it was already pretty nice. Before, it took some skill to use the pistol but now it seems that any noob can win with the pistol.

To be honest, the weapon is actually kinda OP in the right hands but Iā€™m not complaining since Iā€™m a predator main lol.

Im still of the mind that it was a doomed weapon from the start. Its designed in such a way that it will always either be too strong or too weak.

The infinite ammo, fire rate, and reload speed could mitigate this. But its gonna be an especially difficult weapon to make better.

This post is this game and community in a nutshell. Predator weapon goes from utterly worthless to usable and people cry nerf. Tell you what, letā€™s make the next Predator DLC Forrest Gump Predator. Heā€™ll have some braces on his legs and constantly draw the wrong weapon because heā€™s an idiot šŸ™„

I meanā€¦ We shouldnt have to playtest this game either tho.

Unfortunately thats where we are. We are beta testers basically and the only real way that a game gets proper care is if we all discuss things. Whether we agree or not it gives the devs some insight into how the game is playing right now for most people.

I read this post and decided to try the new Plasma Gun. The buff was perfect. Its 1 v 4 guys come on. The FT have GUNs and 4 guns are way more powerful than a lil alien pistol.

Thereā€™s another post about how ā€œbrokeā€ the Net Gun is. Whatā€™s next? The Smart Disc?

The Plasma Gun is so strong, but a decent FT should be able to outgun the pred if they rely on it.

itā€™s kinda hard to aim at moving targets with it, I still find, so itā€™s not great for straight up firefights
