It’s amazing to see how many people can listen and watch Trump for 4 years and conclude this vainglorious, constantly lying, corrupt, cowardly, moron of a man is fit to run a country. Whether it’s down to their gullibility or genuine affection for idiot man-babies with authoritarian desires, it doesn’t bode well for the future of the US as a democratic nation.
When I was younger I used to naively think the people who supported and helped Hitler to power were a freak occurrence - never again would people fall behind such obviously monstrous leaders. I now realize that these people are always with us and amongst us in every nation - people who would happily see others suffer and inflicting suffering as long as it means they’re on top. In fact, I think modern society and technology with its isolating nature has likely led to an increase in this type of sociopath. They’re certainly in abundance here.

Basically if Stalin and Hitler were on the polls right now, one of them would win. That’s the real problem in the end. Instead of bipartisan negotiations and a consistent drive to move the country forward, we get petty bickering and even pettier disputes that bog down any policy changes the country so desperately needs. It started with Republicans staunch rebukes of the Obama administration and have only ramped up during the Trump administration. It’s come to the point where there’s no middle ground and thus no progress in addressing the issues America faces.

Idk man. I had my night of entertainment. The town hall is directly across the street from my house and I got to watch Ny hicks fight each other for 7 hours was great. Watching these man child’s fighting like the children they are
