This is an inherently bad idea. The Predators have a code of honor by which they conduct their hunts. Hunting humans at night would break that code of honor. In the original Predator movie the Jungle Hunter did not attack at night, he only flushed a boar into their camp defenses in order to distract the Commandos so he could steal Blaines’ body while they were distracted.
Predator 2, the entire hunt is at night
unless you are implying that canon is only derived from the first movie and not the subsequent movies and books. Pretty sure that canon implies the recognised universe of the creator of said universe.
If you’re saying you are more knowledgeable than Jim and John about the universe they imagined… well that’s a pretty bold claim.

Predator 2 is not what the game is based on for it’s core concept genius, as stated by the devs themselves the original movie is the premise.

The beginning of the movie takes place during broad daylight during which the City Hunter hunts and kills the Colombian cartel gang members.

There’s a thing called “light pollution” in cities due to the extent of artificial light available which makes the stars harder to see as their light is drowned out by street lamps and such.

As for the other weapons and gear for the Predator, I doubt many people would be satisfied with only Wrist Blades and the Plasma Caster

How would you do it?
Much as it was at launch, except change the parry to not damage either combatant, do knockback to humans instead of making Preds reel back.
Make the War Club ignore parry altogether plus knockback and knockdown on 3rd combo string hit.
Make the Predator gear replenishable once per match via a drop pod.
Buff resistance for the Hunter and Scout a bit as they did.
Reduce ammo and med spawns across the map, as they did.
Add a support gunship to the Fireteam Exfil to prevent scrub Preds from bumrushing at the last moment like honorless scum.
Prioritize interaction over reload.
Add a significant number of changes to the cosmetic system to improve it, such as reducing the price of colors for Pred masks to be much less than the cost of the mask itself.
Make Warpaints for Pred masks a pattern that can have a color palette selection.
Just to name a few. I could go on and on

Fix Preds falling out of trees randomly and getting stuck until they “dismount”
Get rid of problem environmental clutter that causes players to get stuck.
Add tree climbing and Predkour to the Second Wind for Preds, get rid of the bright white highlighting. No Super Leaping though. That shit is way outside of canon. It makes for a fun game mechanic in combat, although not as currently implemented with the 1.06 patch adding a flashbang effect which is simply dumb.
Neither should the Combistick or Arrows create a flashbang effect. The only weapon that should is the Plasma Casters, both Shoulder and Handheld.

Add a flinch effect while under mass fire to the Preds as well. They shouldn’t be able to simply run up to a downed FT member still bleeding out and freely do a quick claim while getting shot up by the rest of the team plus AI’s. It would actually help Pred players as it would discourage them from taking a ton of damage that usually leads to them getting put into Second Wind and subsequently getting gunned down.

Man in the first movie in 1987 Dutch is fighting the predator at night!!! Yes he remove his helmet to fight with honor at the end of the fight but befor that he use all of his technology to try to kill Dutch.

This forum is nothing more than players who like to play as Predator, and suck at it, to complain and bitch. Get good! Stop expecting the deva to make it easier for you Predator players to get all your trophies! I kill everyone in a few minutes as Predator every time. Playing as Predator is way easier than killing a good Predator. The problem is, you whiny players suck as Predator and expect the fire team to be nerfed to make it easier for you. You whiners got you way with the last patch, and fire team got nerfed and Predator is more OP than he was before. If you can’t hack it as playing as Predator, maybe you need to go back to Fortnite and get your mom to bring you your snacks while you play with your ten year old friends.
