Yea if i watch it as an alien show i start nit pickin cus of the many short comings or missed opportunities, but if i watch it as its own thing and the alien/s (not the other aliens but alien) are making a cameo its not that bad ot centers around androids, cyborgs, intergrading humans with robots in an attempt at immortality but the human part is causing confliction (the red head) that is all interesting scifi now again the kids part is stupid to me and also kinda weird especially if they make any sexual undertones being that they were kids but wouldnt surprise me cus its disney and we know disney over steps its boundaries and that goes off into a different convo but overall ots decent scifi with alien cameos

Fair. I’m one YouTube review the guy calls Kavalier a Peter Pan Sexual because of keeds in cyborg bodies. It is kinda creepy, but I think Episode 4 steered from that, perhaps into an even darker territory.

Yea after episode 4 it looks like they preferred kids cus they can more easily manipulate them but yea if it stays with that then i can see it and would make sense for the vibe but if it goes weird sexual undertones and stuff like that then its gonna seem more deliberate than it already does. Before i was loosely following it but now im drawn in after episode 4.

It gives WY type vibes of “humans are expendable in the name of R&D at any cost” Which goes to my missed opportunities point cus thats WY type shit goin on only its prodigy so yea felt like they could of expanded on WY experimenting and trying to weoponize aliens and all that like the script for blomkamps alien 5 and in some ways makes me think back to resurrection

obviously you’re not in it for story. you just want the money shot…xeno that is and whether or not you can compete with your own cosplay or hokey dokey amateur toy making skills.

you’re already assume Noah H. is in bed with Disney. We don’t know that.
The Predator was in bed with Disney. thats no doubt so unless you want to compare, then i don’t think Alien Earth is doing that at all. Not at this point.

The Peter Pan element is only just a small portion of it, and doesn’t seem to be an attempt at analogy for the entire plot of the series, only just the motley crew part since in retrospect, anything that is like a military mission/or a secretive project tend to use very broad integrations with context to other things (usually its completely a tangent).

My guess is that it calls out the aesthetic casting of the Boy Kav and the other people so that people dont quickly associate this was a teen movie. Its safe to say that these Hybrids and Boy are youthful. They just don’t want people to assume too easily that everyone dies like any teen movie and since they are placed in very serious undertones, the analogy to Peter Pan and the lost boys simply infer their relationships are wholesome and not going the way of hormones.

Thats a smart move considering the Alien has already a very serious undertone and contexts.
If they were to introduce very serious vibes, it might be that of Erich von daniken and Chariots of the Gods idea that what is going to motivate mankind and their taking of the Aliens are based on why the three types of synthetics/cyborgs/hybrids exist. All have every illusive motivations.

My guess (not in any order):

  1. Gift of Life
  2. Gift of Death
  3. Gift of Fire

I mean these are just my quick take. I knew for one, the whole prodigy creations were going to have startling differences between each other since that was in the introduction of the show (much like Blade Runner) and so now all have difference motivations.

I got a serious Blade Runner vibe from the introduction text sequence, didn’t anyone else?

dude you must have dreamt up a whole script after the first episode and now after 3 episodes you’re going you could have owned this show?

You must not read books all the way to the end. You finished chapter 1 of Bram Stokers Dracula and you go “fuck this shit”.

C’mon Jar Jar Kevin!!!

Not gonna get into this with you. Jus gonna say if noah was given the job to do the show…who owns the rights to alien now? Disney. Case closed. Very “thoughtful” 3 replies but i dont wanna make you a liar so i didnt read them except the first and only read half lol

Thanks Jar Jar. That attempt is overwhelming. Maybe you shouldn’t be tossed into a container with an active moving motor blade.
think about it:

Did you think that was a flesh light?

i think you require to re-read.

You said i dont read and im not gonna make a liar outta you my good sir

Are you gonna tell me you’re well-read? Good for you jar jar!!

If it keeps getting good ratings, I’m sure we’ll see more WY involvement. Id expect them to get the xeno at some point either by stealing it or collaboration with Prodigy.

They only have a few eggs tho. Is one of them going to be the queen or will humans figure out how to reproduce them synthetically?

Why don’t you ask your toy vendor? they have all your answers.
When in doubt, think Kenner. Then the whole world of Alien just springs to life!

Thats jarjar space monkey to you. You think these eyes are just to look cute and cuddly!?

Spontaneously decided to binge all currently available episodes of Alien: Earth, and I’m pleasantly surprised with how entertained I’ve been so far! Still ‘somewhat’ skeptical of the whole concept of cyborgs and genetically-enhanced humans but love how it’s driving a technology war between the corporations ruling over Earth.

5th episode in and that really was interesting how a short moment in time is summed up like that.
