The first time we glimpsed a CGI model for the Titans was in Season 2, and it was jarring. The Colossal Titanâs awkward proportions as it attacked with its ultra-thin arms were comical and the way it was composited into the show made it feel as if it barely belonged in its environment.
I donât know about animation styles much and havenât even noticed the differences. I just though that it was the passing of time. Iâm not big on anime overall and can probably count the movies/series i watched on two hands đ before AoT the only series that i watch was melancholy of haruhi Suzumiya and there rest were movies

lol on a serious note I really like MAPPA as an animation studio, Dorohedoro had some great artistic direction in terms of CGI environments and character blending.
I understand they had only a year or so to get this season of AOT out. If anyoneâs going to develop a rushed CGI anime I prefer it be MAPPA who work pretty well with lighting and crunchtime instead of giving us 2017 CGI Beserk.
