No, that is not what I wanted to say and it is, by the way, not true too.
I’ve encountered PS4 players who are as good as PC player.
But their playing style need to be another, as they have a controller and a controller does not enable you to e.g. change your view quickly.
Compare the videos of team @DovahkiinJr and @Arrow_calis - both did not loose a single game in our little competition (have a look at the thread “Let the Games Begin”).
But the movements of the viewing area in the videos of arrows team have been completely different.
The strategics and tactics PS4 players can successfully use are others than those of PC players.
If a PS4 player plays alike a PC player, in terms of playing style - said strategics and tactics, and afterwards the result is the very same (as it would be on PC), that makes me suspicious. That admittedly is just a personal impression and my suspicions may be wrong.
I’ve encountered PS4 predator players, who seemed to be as good as the PC top tiers, at least as far as I could determine that.
By the way, it is statistically somehow not very probable, that all excellent players are PC players…
i dint think it would work. the problem is that the game needs to support K&m input. even if the controller emulated it, the controller would simply not work in the game. you need the opposite; a k&m that emulates controller input. those devices do exist

not all, but given the amount of kids that play the game on console vs the amount of adults that play on PC is easy to see why, in general, you find pc players who play better. is not that it HAS to be that way, it just is.
then of course yiu have a lot of console players that claim to be good but play with crossplay off, so we have no idea of how those players play.
i play with both and have friends in both platforms, if you are good you are good, but on average, at least for us, PC players are better on average. Doesn’t mean it is like that, that is just our experience

But we are talking about pure PS4 games - my crossplay is off too. So we are talking PS4 vs PS4. That is a completely different game compared to PC vs PC or even PS4 vs PC. In the latter, naturally, the probability that a PC top tier would win against a PS4 top tier might be bigger than vice versa. But this is not due to “being better” but due to “having the better electronical means”.
But I was just talking about PS4 vs PS4 games and there it is very seldom, that a “PS4” player plays PC style AND has the same results with that, from my experience.

If you let the formula 1 world champion compete with the world champion in horse racing, the outcome likely would be:
car vs horse: formula 1 champion
car vs car: formula 1 champion
horse vs horse: horse racing champion

i dunno man. aside from input, i dont see much of a difference between PC and ps4. this game runs like shit on both platforms. I also played with a controller for months. when i finally got my own room dedicated for my pc I switched to k&m. I didn’t change any tactics or whatsoever. I still play the same.

As you said, if you are good, you are good. You might not need to change your playing style to compete with the average PS4 player.
But if you want to compete with controller against somebody who is a really good console player, you might need to :)

Those games were rigged to prove that 3 ps players could win against any pred. It was all bs.
They wanted to prove to the devs that the ft was way too op so they rigged those games.

XIM adapters emulate controllers despite native KBM not being supported. Ask anyone who’s ever played seige on console. Native mouse is disabled on games for a reason.
Fortnite’s terrible about it and even though they added native kbm to put kbm players against kbm people still use their XIMs so its read as a controller and they instead get matched against controller players for the input advantage.
A mouse is an advantage over a controller without generous aim assist period. Seige has no aim assist so its the most obvious example of high ranked players using XIM adapters and just flickshotting everyone and it looks nothing like PS4 gameplay at all where they’re limited by stick deadzones and janky axis handling.
The best controller in the world and you’re still just scrolling a distance between two points, not pointing and clicking with wrist/arm movement like a mouse which is much twitchier and responsive to tiny movements and corrections.
Lol if anyone remembers that counter strike PS3 port, enough said. Everyone should know by now a mouse is objectively more precise than control sticks much like we know using the touchpad and trying to look around by scrolling your fingers is a worse input than a mouse. And a controllers rotational controls are better for platformers than linear WASD. It’s really not some mystery.

No, I did not want to say that. I am sorry, I am suffering from a bad headache today, so my texts might lack of some precision today. I hope the comparison between formula one and horse race and the belonging table has cleared that up.

Dova and his team also won against Dentedesabre, who seems to belong into the top tier PC league. Although it was quite close. But the reason, why he lost, might even be related to those different strategics/tactics. One has to be used to play against top tier PS4s…

The “Let the Games Begin” challenge was open - everybody could have assigned. All PC players, who were willing to compete - and they were given the advantages of their PCs - were beat by Dova and his mates. Where were you then? Hiding…?
