so she as a part of a tribe with a grand mother who tries to teach her the importance of medicine…brothers her bother her and insult her place and her indulgence in weapons whom uses her skill to save their lives with med flowers, and the fact that she does it on her own which makes up a good portion of the film felt less developed than say SHANEBlacks character or Danny Glovers or Hudsons(for give me Hudson I forget your name in the film because it was poorly developed) from Predator 2?

Look at the teams relationship and the main characters dynamic with thier team vs naru and her relationship with her team if you can call it that. Nobody but the usual suspects arw makin it a gender thing so you guys stop makin it about gender. Naru attitude toward everyone in the movie even her bro is at times snotty no comrodery the male characters script are to say some stupid tropes that is suppose to make you feel or like it hwr but its stupid. In p1 or p2 is there any of that dumb shit? Does dutch make some woman in the kitchen stupid references? Does harrigan treat the woman in thier team like “oh you cant do shit cus your a women” No they dont its the script writers makin some stupid modern bs instead of actually makim a team dynamic you can root for and if you cant get that then idk what to say to you except stop makin everythin a ist or phobe bullshit its not us (critics) its these lame ass directors and script writers. that took one line. was it developed well. hell no. you believed it because the rest of the movie was pretty much unbelievable. Its not a real LA. it was an 80s LA that nobody thought could exist. suspend disbelief? well you were forced to because the whole shitshabang was an fantasy romp set in your backyard on Earth.

you mean this instead, Narus character was believable. You can’t even argue it was more thought out than any other character in the franchise and was far more beliavble. She had more backstory screen time as well by far on par with any other well written film stanard in modern film making.

She is not fleshed out at all. She’s quite literally just a stubborn, selfish teenaged girl who thinks she knows better than everyone else & wants to go hunt purely to spite everyone that thinks she’s incapable of doing so (which she is for 99% of the movie).
She gets several members of her Tribe killed including her brother & doesn’t seem to give a shit about that at all but she’s happy & feeling good about herself again by the end of the movie because she got what she wanted & killed Feral with the most abhorrent case of plot armor I have seen in any movie besides maybe Torres in PKoK.
She’s a shit person & a shit character who nobody will find relatable unless they are some kind of narcissist.
Naru is quite literally the worst Protagonist in the entire franchise.

correct. but you make it sound being female in her world was wrong. so i disagree because I onlly get it from my perspective. The whole world she lives in is a fragment of society. Not going to lie, i don’t know much about it personally.
