Was it a Chinese restaurant? When I went to China they had many strange and exotic meats but I was eating vegetarian with a group of Buddhist monks and scholars so I could only witness, thankfully. The idea of eating shark fin, turtle, dogs, and cats was repulsive to me from my cultural viewpoint. But China also had an underground vegetarian culture as well. Hypocritically, I have no problem with getting a cheeseburger or chicken nuggets back here in the states. It tastes too good and I am far from the comprehending the suffering involved in its selling.

Theres an easy three layer dip recipe.

it’ll stop your heart but its great to eat.

People at cook outs end up putting it on anything.

Cream Cheese, chunky chili of choice, sharp cheddar cheese.

Take the cream cheese spread a base layer of your liking. Spread chili and stuff for layer 2. Top off cheese for last layer. Bake it till cheese on top is melted.

PS - Eat at own risk. You will die. Like you will feel your heart and internal organs slow down eating this.

Spinach and artichoke dip.

Two blocks of Phili cream cheese
1 1/2 cups of light mayo, (Hellmann’s is preferred) others can work.
1 1/2 cups grated Parmesan cheese fresher the better
1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella
1 Red pepper
1 onion
1 small can of artichoke hearts in water
1 small bag of spinach (frozen preferred)
Garlic powder
Salt/Pepper
Cayenne pepper
Dried onion flakes
Parsley dried or fresh

Chopper peppers and onion in small diced
Mix cream cheese, mayo, and other cheese together till mixed.

Add peppers and onions fold in with Spatula

Drain artichokes and squeeze all juice from them make them as dry as possible, but be sure to save 1/4 cup of the water. Thats for later

Thaw spinach and drain and squeeze dry.

Add squeezed dry artichokes and spinach and mix.

Add spices to taste.

Heat up for till top is lightly toasted. Mix in the together after removing, add to nice bowl or make a bread bowl and add dip

Will make enough for a two ppl to share

If making for more than two ppl.
Add 1/2 of all ingredients per person so if there is three of you two and 1/2 blocks of cream cheese and so forth. Enjoy
