FIND THIS PHG Video, an obscure LOL from Beer warrior

How did he get in our woods to get them anyways? I thought you mass proofed it?

Seriously, talk about a masterclass in filmmaking. Every time I watch it I pick up more and more subtle clues and appreciate it even more.
Super glad it gained a following instead of fading into obscurity after bombing the release, because it was so underrated at the time.

I wish the prequel used practical effects instead of CGI. The thing is (shitty pun very much intended), they were planning to go practical as much as possible and even got as far as making practical models before they scrapped it in favor of CGI. Damn shame because of how impressive the practical effects were in the original, and it’d have been really refreshing to see a mostly practical movie in recent times given how much CGI is overused.
Regardless, it kinda has that Rogue One effect where it leads into a classic movie so well you can’t help but get home and put the original on.

Well, you see I did, however there was one minor oversight.
I may have forgotten one tiny little detail and that may or may not have been to first make sure that Mass was outside the woods before I constructed the defenses.

He’s either a Fed or from outside this reality, and he’s too much of a degenerate threat to be a Fed.

It’s one of the greatest horror films ever made, and I’m incredibly glad it’s as well known as it is. I apologize for not having more to say about the film, it’s just hard to come up with something when everyone else has already said it

As for the prequel, I don’t remember it much, but I remember that the CGI over practical made it less watchable for me, it wasn’t bad from what I remember, but I didn’t love it like I did the original

The horse tranquilizer for the sleepy rifle is with my daily medicines. Look for the bottle labeled ‘Ketamine’ in the 3rd drawer of the trailer lab

The .50 BMG is in the usual spot with the other sniper rifles.

I feel ya there. The plot ain’t bad for the sequel, but it’s nothing groundbreaking. I don’t remember it as much as the OG either.

I guess that’s another reason I love Blood Meridian so much. It’s relatively unknown outside of dark literature circles.

From what I remember it was a lot like Alien, but I might be misremembering it.

And exactly, there’s still so much to say about that story that ain’t been said a thousand times.

It’s like if you mixed alien with the original thing.
An alright film in it’s own right in a standalone setting, but not nearly as remarkable as its predecessor is.
