FT does not fear the Predator
Its all down to skill and team work thats it
Well most Predators loose matches. From my own experience and most other people’s experience. And before you say “get good hurr durr” I main fireteam. Not going to touch predator with a 6ft pole. And the fact of the matter is there is no challenge. As a fireteam player my main objective should be to complete the objectives and “GET TO THE CHOPPA!” But it’s not. Why do that when I can hunt down the predator and decimate him. If I die oh well I can just come back again in 10 seconds, full gear, full health, 0 consequences and try again. That’s a problem. I and I’m sure many others have stopped playing this game. I stopped playing because it’s simply not fun as either side. It’s not fun busting your ass off just so the fireteam can come back. And it’s not fun being fireteam when what’s supposed to be a major threat you have to escape from is reduced to an insect you can bully and if they get the upper hand…you’re back in the match again to finish him off. I want to feel fear and adrenaline as the fireteam. But that just simply isn’t the case as of right now because I know that I can just come back. And that’s a big problem. Without it I don’t think as much people would complain about pred being underpowered or ft being too strong because it still rewards skillful gameplay. And reinforcements are definitely not skillful.
If the fireteam doesn’t fear you, then you’re not a skilled predator.
If you down one of them and take a quick claim, then they will fear you. If you can’t do that, you should probably re-think your strategy.

Re-read what I put before saying anything. I. Main. Fireteam. And I have not seen anyone fear the predator.
And I don’t fear him because I know I can just come back without any consequences. Don’t spout this get good nonsense. There is no reason to fear a predator. Your knife can kill him quicker than any of his melee weapons can kill you, his ranged playstyle can get him punished hard just by 2 shotting his mask off. And on top of that you can come back.
A good Fireteam will 9/10 times beat a good predator lol. It’s how it is rn, spam tag, weapon stack, class stack, so many ways to out dmg a Pred rn.

Yes this is true. But I personally think it would be more bearable if the entire fireteam couldn’t be revived. But heck, maybe if they turned the tables with that, then reinforcements might be able to stay.
indeed, or at least add a lore accurate mode later on if the game survives past July.
I think you miss the point of reinforcements. Bringing your team back allows the hunt to continue. Without it, many games would end in less than 3 min. That’s not fun for the predator, or fireteam.
Let’s try this. If you’re on PS4, add Skoolboy_skeptik and you can show me how “overpowered” the fireteam is.
That’s what it would seem like but it’s actually not true in the slightest. Fireteam can still hand a Predator’s ass to them without needing to revive. Not having it just means they have to play more carefully. Which means focusing on hunting down the predator won’t always be successful. And if you’re main complaint is the predator demolishing teams in minutes then all I can say is that barely happens as is now. Even without reinforcements the fireteam won’t get demolished that quickly because of the countless ways the fireteam can hard counter anything and everything predator does. And how is a 1v1 going to prove my point of reinforcements being devoid of skill and causing unbalance in matches? Methinks you just want to use that to brag about your “skill”. Lol

mate, theres no such thing as a skilled FT that fears the predator. The FT is op as fk, its literally a gem-hunting game, with some annoying invisible flea that keeps trying to bite you.
Thats all it is.

Yup. Fireteam has all the tools to counter everything pred can do at all times.

That was fun to watch. Good playing by both sides. Pred was a shit sport though.
For all those that say ft does not fear pred, i went finally against a pre-made pc fireteam you’ll have to watch my vid its hilarious. I even let them come back full reinforcements. Cocky Sons of B’s
