The salty part was me just being irritated by people calling players who do quick claims as being cheap and being “unhonorable”. Like what do the expect? Every Predator to long claim every kill while the FT shreds them? That argument literally makes no sense to me but I apologize for calling people “salty”
Future Patch Ideas (Work-In-Progress)
been playing since launch and been 100 from Sunday afternoon, 2 days after release. all of the weekly/daily “Quest’s” or “Mission’s” are true, its an AMAZING idea, cause when my mates and i play we just run around collecting Currency. we dont care about the mission, we wont those knifes and knifes skins. and to have daily missions like ( play 5 games with successful Exfils or play 3 games and kill the predator ) either way its going to keep me playing cause im the type of guy that always looks and finds a goal to do. my goal was to have 100k Vs and thats done now. so know if this daily/weekly missions are true then i can spend all my moneys and get 200 field lockers lmao.
and everything else is amazing too so cant wait to see if this comes out soon, PS maybe a new Tab in the menu to see your stats such as ( how many predator kills/ how many Exfils/ how much time have you played as the predator/fireteam) ect thanks for reading lads
Quick claims are in a good spot, need bug and QOL fixing but thats it , they’re worth less and work to the goal of reducing numbers.
You can be shot to shit in seconds, if your team is good, they’ll put so much lead into them if he tries to do it in front of anyone.
The only you could nerf it by a second or two is if the Predator can be cloaked or not able to be marked or silent while doing it. Even then, thats not a better solution to the original which works very well.
You rip a head usually take good damage.
Changing it calls for buffs, nerfs to animation or mechanic changes that dont need to happen or would cause more problems.
That’s why they’re worth less points.
Upgrade pred perks some of em at least for example modified reserve and adrenal boost.
I can see those, but if we upgrade any of the damage resistance or damage buffs then we have to do that for the fireteam as well.

No worries, we are all passionate here, but as long as we are respectful to each other then we should be good.
Our current concerns are that berserkers are just jumping in, doing the quick claim (instant death vs the health you have while downed), and leaping out. I haven’t seen hunters or scouts doing this as much, but with the overbearing presence of berserkers, this forces the team to reinforce, which forces the predator to keep doing this; it becomes a vicious cycle.

OMG, now predators will just kill downed FT by plasma or bow because this is too stupid to try fast kill when your time is 2 seconds. You will be dead under enemy fire

No. Not until they fix the spawns. In fact, fix the spawns for the love of god. I had a game yesterday that about 15 minutes (so a pretty long game) and it was only right towards the end as I was heading in for the last fight with barely any health that I came across one.
Just split the map up into sectors that will guarantee a boar spawn in each one so the predator will still have an element of “ok where’s the boar”. Right now you can sometimes get stupid numbers which are very unlikely to get used or you get bugger all.
I mean sure if you want the predator to almost always die if they have the temerity to quick claim. Interruptible by melee…jesus christ that is a next level terrible idea. Quick claim already allows the FT to get some good damage.

Quick claim is a 1 second duration (it’s already 0.5)
Makes the Fireteam member eligible for reinforcement
Long claim is the same speed
Makes the Fireteam member not eligible for reinforcement
To clarify: Anyone killed by quick claim is eligible for reinforcement, but anyone that is long claim (provided that the reinforcement hasn’t started while they are down) is not eligible for reinforcement.
I am wondering if the long claim should be interruptible, but I think with how long it takes to do, that this would be balanced for everyone.
What about new traps for predator? We have trap perk for 3 points, but we only have 1 bear trap for catch anybody, how about net trap which will work like net gun but only if someone reach the trap radius, the trap will shoot a net to a victim with longer duration(if you took perk of course).
Also I have idea to make new perk with 5 points value which will allow predator hijack FT waypoints (when use impulse in heat mode vision) for their primary mission and radio speech (orders) from HQ center to know where is their main target mission. Also this perk will decrease cooldown timer for impulse a bit).5 points value will be too high to take it for Hunter or Berserk so the only predator which may will have it is Scout. He already have 15 points, but no perks to spend to fill it full. I dont think that this will break Predator’s meta because Predators have good technologies and they may break humans systems. Also this will help for good hunting and trap preparing if he will know where FT will go after another mission
