While I don’t completely agree with your analysis of the situation in Israel, I do think you get the gist of it right. It really is a horrible situation made worst through constant political maneuvering. I do think it will change, how it’s discussed now is much different then even 10 years ago.

I’m a bit surprised we agree on much of it though.

That…that’s actually the opposite of what that fact check says. Plain clothes Capitol police officer was the shooter.

Regardless I’m much less concerned with the agency employing the shooter and more about the response. There was a few videos, a few angles. I’ll give benefit of the doubt that a verbal warning might have been issued. This was a bad scenario to shoot.

I think it was a good scenario for shooting of verbal and shot warnings were given. Then had a good bottleneck position. If those people would have breached the corner, the situation could have been much worse as multiple places of entry would open up.

I lost respect for the brass when trump was trying to remedy the COVID situation and all they did was try to make him look bad. Using people’s misfortune for your ends is low. Pretty much anything trump did, right or wrong, then went against. They don’t care about the people; only about themselves.

Granted Republicans can be that way too and if the tables were reversed, I’d cririsize then as well. So just a bad look for the opposing side when no matter the situation you keep playing partisan politics
